About
Located in the heart of the historic town of Beaune, in the Burgundy Wine Region Hôtel Le Cep & Spa offers accommodations with a luxury spa and restaurant. Beaune owes its charm and warm atmosphere to the union of many old homes built between the 14th and the 18th centuries. All rooms and suites are air-conditioned and each one is unique. They are furnished with antiques and are named after famous Burgundy wines. Each room has a private bathroom with bath, shower and complimentary toiletries. The hotel's gastronomic restaurant Loiseau des Vignes managed by the famous Groupe Bernard Loiseau proposes gourmet cuisine and a wide range of wines. Guests can enjoy a wide range of spa treatments and massages at the hotel's spa, Marie de Bourgogne on booking request only. Additional facilities include the Philippe Le Bon meeting and banqueting space, which includes 4 adjustable rooms that can host up to 80 people. The nearest station is Beaune SNCF Train Station, 0.8 mi from Hôtel Le Cep & Spa. Charging stations for electric cars are available at this property.

- This is an elegant, comfortable, friendly, meticulously managed, perfectly located boutique hotel with wonderful staff members. We liked it so much we extended our stay.
Cons -
- I think they should restore/renovate the rooms. Or at least replace the carpet and sink fixtures. The fixtures were hard to use and would often just drip.
- Room and bathroom a bit dated .Toilet is too small

Location
Room and bathroom a bit dated .Toilet is too small
Not to be repeated.
Hotel, bathroom, mattress and staff are tired.?
The terrace! I asked for a terrace and it was huge. Our room was also large and very comfortable. The location is within walking distance of the entire town.
The air conditioning was really working hard and barely was able to keep up. Might be worth investing in the individual air conditioners. They work much better.
Nice yard. Good breakfast. Excellent location. Easy to walk to every where. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The room has a stuffy smell. Toilet seat is old and the paint fell off the seat cover.
Lovely staff. Fabulous old world hotel. Great bar.
The pillows need an upgrade please and air conditioner is not very effective.
The hotel is perfectly positioned to the town centre, it has secure valet parking within yards of the rooms. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. On both visits I have made to the hotel I have been fortunate to have been upgraded to a beautiful room! The style and decor of Le Cep are stylish and tasteful.
There really is nothing to dislike! The cost of the stay may be above average for the area but you really do get what you pay for!
Great staff upgraded us .Helped with great local restaurant .
location / staff
room on front of building noises
Upgraded room so very spacious but quite old fashioned. Excellent location. Secure private parking but extra cost.
Bed comfy but lumpy/hard pillows. Large room (upgrade) but ground floor so net curtains for privacy and noise - by kitchen entrance.
Historic, central, classy.
Good 4 star rating - not 5 stars.
Location amazing Room very big and warmNice quality bed linen and towels Would definitely book again to stay there
Breakfast not so good I am afraid.I did not have fresh eggs or anything extra from the menu so can not comment on this .I was disappointed but the staff was so lovely it really did not matter
Gréât location , Wonderful staff, Historique building full of charm
Could use some updates like the AC was noisy, old bathrooms.
The beautiful interiors, powerful shower, private secure parking and comfortable bed.
Very smart, small and comfortable hotel, fantastic location in the town centre, valet parking is a real bonus, staff were very good to us, dog friendly, easy access from the motorway, highly recommended
This is a Grand Hotel in every sense with the usual idiocyncracies. Wonderful locationand veryhelpful reception. The restaurant food and service also good.
Well: firstly, booking via booking.com resulted in us paying Euro 70 more for the room than if we had booked direct (which is not easy as its web site is buried beneath all the other booking agencies). The Cep appears to operate as a number of profit centres : for example the main restaurant is an entitely separate entity and the Spa is only responsive to direct communications and bookings. This proved almost impossible to organise via the Booking.com messaging service. Be prepared also for the oddities of this old Grand Hotel: the plugs in the rooms appear to be of an earlier generation of electrical fitting. The only concession to modernity was a "tablet" in the room through which everything was held out to be possible: but ours was stone dead and could not be revived! It took 40 mins to get a boiled egg out of the chef at breakfast. I suspect that might have been beneath his culinary dignity! The air condioning is only responsive to a cenralised setting of warm or cold: as it had been very cool the week earlier it was set on warm and as it had turned hot by the time we arrived it could not operate to cool the room!
The location is good. It’s in the centre of town.
The property is very old and shabby. It looks really uncared for. There isn’t any ambience in the hotel. The staff are also rude.
The hotel is wonderful. The staff were ever so helpful. They were welcoming and attentive as we pulled up outside the hotel and right the way through our stay. We also got an unexpected upgrade to our room which was unbelievable.
