Novotel Beaune

We got some sleep.

Greatly overated. Four stars is a collassal over assessment. It was not as good as any of the two stars we stayed in after another 13 days in France.

Would have liked bottled water in room as well as milk to make coffee/tea

Very convenient location en route to Italy, just wish it was walking distance to town, otherwise excellent - comfy beds, good breakfast, friendly staff, dog friendly and higher standard that basic Ibis. Loved having a decent size room and a bath as well as a shower was the deal breaker for me! we made use of the bar before taking a taxi out to dinner and were very happy with the hotel and would use it again.

Just wish was walking distance to town (30 mins not possible at night)

- Its a reasonable hotel for 1-2 nights business stays- 4 car chargers and they were not occupied

- no minibar- they cannot serve wine after 10pm- cannot reserve a car charger- expensive

Good location, ample parking space, good and new facilities, provided a travel cot for our baby.

Elevator Doors close pretty fast, doesn’t give you much time to get in.

The beds were super comfortable and it was great that there was a pool.

The staff weren’t very helpful or attentive. Dinner menu very limited and not very nice.

Parking was easy and free

The food in the restaurant was not good. It was expensive and the meals were cold and tasted as if they had been reheated

only ate there once - slow service and uninterested staff- it was just a job -but Beaune blessed with lots of eating places

Right off the freeway, good restaurant. Good air conditioning and quiet.

It was all good

Perfect location half way, when driving from the Netherlands to the South of France. Close to the highway exit, close to the lovely town of Beaune.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean and the location is very convenient as a stop off on the way to the French Alps. The reason I’ve given an exceptional rating is because we got a puncture just before arrival on the Saturday evening - our European breakdown cover told us we would not be able to get the tyre changed until Monday as all garages would be closed. This would mean missing a day of our skiing holiday. However Naomi on reception came to our rescue on Sunday morning. We googled every garage within driving range of our temporary tyre until we found one open (Vapo Pneus, south of Beaune) Naomi helped us make the calls as our French is very limited! It felt like a miracle to be on the road again by midday on Sunday and we are so grateful to Naomi for all her kindness and help, she went above and beyond and saved our very special holiday with our extended family.

It's really practical and perfect if you want to visit Beaune or a pitstop to the South of France.

Good location just off the motorway so great for an overnight stop. Plenty of free parking. Friendly, welcoming staff. Good breakfast with plenty of vegan options.Room was a good size, clean, nice bathroom.

Fab stay the whole family enjoyed it, comfortable, clean and easily accessible from the motorway

The hotel was perfect to break are journey up, fantastic bar and food on the premises. The room was perfect for our family a good nights sleep had, will definitely be stopping there again

Breakfast excellent, evening meal was average food only just warm..

First room was dreadfully smelly of dogs they did allocate another room which was OK.. pet friendly hotels is fine but perhaps some rooms should be pet free or cleaned more throughly .when charging above average prices for evening meal then the food should be up to standard . Staff are excellent.

The 4 persons room is big enough and had a cot for our baby. They replied swiftly to our e-mails regarding check-in time, when it was unclear from the booking website

Booking website says that check-in is only allowed till 22.00, whereas we found out that the check-in is actually 24/7Hotel should update this booking info to reflect this, as this brought us unnecessary stress to arrive on time

We liked that the couch converted to two single pull out beds. The decor was nice and it was clean and comfortable.

The meal felt overpriced.
