Pros +
- The location is very convient, easy accès to A5 and quiet. Nice restaurant, dog friendly.
- Handy parking, good restaurant! Excellent breakfast and delightful staff. Felt safe and secure. Easy to find. Convenient to area activities. Comfortable beds.
- Plain stripped down room, a bed and toilet. Not much more..
Cons -
- Small rooms, but I guess that is a part of the value equation. Very warm rooms.
- Seemed a bit tired compared with previous visits.
- The breakfast was ok, had to make own teabags from loose tea (with no English Breakfast tea available), bacon and eggs had run out when I went for breakfast at 9.20 am, replenished at 9.55 am (5 mins before end of breakfast). There is no kettle/tea making facilities in the rooms. We requested a disabled room, but unfortunately this is only suitable for wheelchair users, not those who use a zimmer frame for walking short distances, as the room was based on the 3rd floor at the very end of a long corridor. To be fair we didn't ask when we realised if we could be moved to a closer room, so maybe they would have been able to accommodate this had we asked.

We were returning guests after a couple of years absence. A perfect overnight stop on the autoroute. Good, simple rooms; good restaurant with excellent wines.
Seemed a bit tired compared with previous visits.
The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. The restaurant for the evening meal was absolutely amazing! I have never had a steak as good. Staff very polite and friendly. Prior communication with the hotel was good.

Breakfast was ruined by other guests bringing in their smelly dogs into the breakfast room, allowing the dogs to sit or lie on human seats and generally be a hygiene hazard. Exactly the same thing was allowed in the restaurant in the evening. People with dogs were allowed to bring them into an area where human food was being consumed and of course we had to put up with the barking dog.
Supermarkets full of human food do not allow dogs. Why would a good restaurant allow smelly, badly behaved animals into a restaurant full of human food.? The hygiene issues were ignored, everyone was forced to be next to or tolerate other people's awful dogs . Just disgusting. Will NEVER use this hotel again.
good location, room ok, nice dinner
Great location off the motorway. Checked in late at 11pm and all very well easy. Comfortable beds. Friendly reception staff. Great value for money
Reception staff were really good and helpful. Breakfast was very good and plenty of options. Room was quite small and air conditioning did not work effectively at the end of March when the weather was warm. Staff told us that it is not switched on at this time of year, but it was definitely required as room was hot at night, and we could not leave the windows open because opposite the building was a lorry refuelling depot and it was noisy.
There is no lounge area for customers except for a few chairs in the corner of the restaurant, this is definitely needed. There is also no bar available to serve cold drinks and alcoholic drinks such as beers, which you would expect for a medium sized hotel. We had to walk to a local supermarket to buy provisions which we ate and drank in our smallish room. The restaurant is expensive for this type of hotel with main course over priced.
Restaurant was incredible could have had a wider menu selection. Also at least one working UK tv channel like BBC news please.
Silent and Good bed. Nice and helpful staff . Good restaurant with fine local wines? Safe carpark?
We were especially pleased and surprised at the quality of the food in the restaurant. It was excellent. An excellent dog friendly place to stay with a fence area where the dogs can exercise off lead safely. The room was clean and comfortable.
We paid for supper by card as soon as the bill was presented. The guy in charge/ manager was the person who took the payment. He left the restaurant shortly after we had paid. When we got up to leave staff asked us to pay again. We explained that we had already paid. They didn’t believe us and two members of staff joined forces to find out if we were telling the truth. One told us to stand still and wait until she returned. The other stood next to us in case we moved. It was unbelievably uncomfortable. When the first girl returned. She shouted, ‘It’s OK they’ve paid’ Then said to us ‘You can go now.’ There was no apology. It was evident to us that these girls were badly trained and afraid of their manager. The Manager was wrong not to notify the girls about our payment before he left the restaurant. We were absolutely appalled at the rudeness of these two staff members which ruined an otherwise perfect stay.
well located pet friendly hotel with good restaurant and nice staff
Confortable and good location . Caring staffs
The mayor problem was the refurbishment done by the hotel at the moment. And because of that loud noises by drilling and other , it was really uncomfortable and impossible to relax. It is not what you want after been travelling for several hours. But after the workers finished their journey The hotel becomes confortable and cosy . You got all you need.
Since it is in the middle of nowhere almost and it is an Ibis hotel, I had low expectations. My high point reflects that considering the price, location and the Standard I believed Ibis hotel represents, it 100% overexceded my expectations. The bed was very comfortable, the room in general was very decent(not perfect, but I stayed in places that were worse by a mile) and clean. 100% recommend.
Location and staff and parking
Check in was easy, as it is usually. The room also familiar though i have to say that the two single beds are very narrow single beds! And the breakfast is outstandingly good. And nice people use the hotel. We usually meet someone interesting to talk to
The prices were much higher it seemed to us than pre Covid prices. We had a party of, sounded like Americans, who chose to have a family reunion... about a dozen people VERY LOUD. Right in the middle of the restaurant. We couldn't hear ourselves speak, so we asked to be moved. The waiter was excellent, responded immediately. But we did wonder whether the staff might have done something before we complained.
All meals were excellent. Easy access to center of Beaune and the A6. Safe parking, well lite at night.
Nothing to report.
Comfortable hotel, extremely handy for motorway, nice appearance and helpful at reception.
On the evening we ordered drinks but because we had dogs we felt we should sit outside but the drinks never come, I went to the bar and waited a while even to be served, I thought it was a disappointment as we were guests.
Usual ibis good standard The evening meals were exceptional. We had intended eating in Beaune for some of the time but the hotel food was so good we ate at the hotel every night. A wide range of food on the breakfast bar catered for all tastes. Easy walk into historic Beaune centre.
Dogs were allowed in all parts of the restaurant and some were not well behaved. A definite minus point from us.
