Wonderful breakfast and great style. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.

GPS did not detect exact location. Accidentally found.

The pool was lovely. Close to a restaurant Staff were lovely.

The shower drain did not work properly causing flooding on the floor causing a dangerous situation. My husband fell. Additionally as the metal baseboards were rusted this problem existed for a long time. Breakfast left something to be desired. I can only eat see much bread in different forms. Bread. Croissant. Cereal more bread

Lovely easy hotel just off the A6, perfect stop over to break up a long journey. Staff are friendly and welcoming, rooms clean and comfy, good range available at breakfast and overall good value for money.

Nothing, we have used this hotel many times to help with our journey through France. It is an ideal location and very easy.

We have stayed here a few times before as the location is perfect just off the A6. The staff are always friendly. The rooms are always clean, the bed is comfy and the breakfast is lovely.

Room was spacious and comfortable bed. Free coffee at reception was a nice touch. Breakfast great with lots to choose from. Loved that you could actually open a window in the room for fresh air! Location ideal as just off the A6. Great value for money.

By mistake I paid twice for dinner - didn’t realise my account had been debited that evening and so paid for for 2 dinners in the morning before I left ! I assume that as it was my mistake I will just have to put that down to experience.

room aircon was effective in the warm weather and the 3 different settings allowed me to keep it on at the lowest setting during the night as it was silent enough for me and kept the room comfortable.room was as expected for this type of hotel, all the necessary available but no extras. That is OK. wifi worked well and was free (apart from sharing some data).breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice.

the shower water didn't drain fast enough and thus there was some small flooding that needed to be kept in check with towels. I forgot to report it (everything is in French, thus not that simple to explain). The same for the basin water that was draining slowly. A bit of work can solve this though.The comments in French (which I do understand well) from one staff member on me taking both a cup of coffee and a cup of warm milk were unprofessional and not appreciated. I was able to comment on that but this shouldn't happen.

Good hotel when you are travelling around the area and need a hotel to stay for 1 night, close to the road and with fast food options around. The staff was friendly and spoke English. Our family room was two connecting rooms but right next to the lift, although it was not too noisy.

There were not any warm options at breakfast time. The bathroom in one of the rooms needs renovation.

Safe and comfortable as a midway break from UK to south france for our family. Van was safe outside but you can park in garage for extra 4 euros if you like. Pool Clean restaurant food ok and friendly staff.

Could do with refurbishment but I think they are building a whole new hotel in same site... maybe they have given up with the current one. Still OK for overnight stay, but I think the condition does not warrant the cost

Subject: Disappointing Stay at Ibis Styles AuxerreI recently spent a night at Ibis Styles Auxerre, and I must say, it was an experience I would rather forget. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill.First and foremost, the condition of our hotel room was unacceptable. The carpet was filthy and had not been properly cleaned, which was incredibly off-putting. The air conditioning barely worked, leaving us uncomfortable throughout the night. As a result, we struggled to get a good night's sleep.The dining experience was even worse. The food was, to put it frankly, disgraceful. My son nearly broke a tooth on the burger bun, which was inedible. It was shocking to see such poor quality food being served. Breakfast was no better; it felt more like a scene from a zoo. A frog was hopping around on the floor, while a cat casually wandered through the dining area during dinner. To top it off, there were dead flies everywhere, which made the already unpleasant atmosphere even worse.Given the numerous issues we faced during our stay, I feel compelled to request a refund for this horrible experience. I expected much more from Ibis Styles, and I hope that changes are made to ensure future guests do not have to endure what we did.

When I booked this hotel on 27th April, asking for a room accessible by lift, I received a phone call from the hotel advising me that there were a few stairs from reception to the lift. There was an electric stair lift but this was currently unserviceable. As my visit was almost a month away, I expected that the electric stair lift would have been repaired, but when I arrived I was disappointed to find that it had not. Not mentioned were the additional flights of stairs required to access the restaurant. As I am an 80-year-old pensioner with reduced mobility, I found this somewhat challenging. There was only one waitress on duty, but she worked very hard to make sure that no-one was kept waiting for too long. The food was of an acceptable standard.The workspace in the bedroom was a very small table, and was quite inadequate.I would only use this hotel again if I could not find a suitable alternative.
