Dirty, sticky floors, uncomfortable beds, awful bedding. Pictures misrepresented

First impressions, very rundown, breakfast not worth €9, I cancelled breakfast the 2nd morning. Could not get TV or air con to work, but couldn't be bothered to have it sorted. Serves its purpose as a solo traveller, but don't ever envisage a romantic getaway here.

Close to the train station.Aircons are working well.The owner was very friendly and telephonically confirmed when we will arrive

Rooms very small and difficult to access on the 3rd floor with luggage.Overall the impression is old and neglected and stairs/hallways very dustyNo facilities for tea/coffee in the rooms

The room and facilities were fine

The late hours entrance system was bad and required 12 attempts to get the door to open. THis is stressfulA better entry system should be installed.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Really friendly helpful staff.

Halls and landings needed a bit of tic

Good hotel, friendly personal, free parking and hotel is near a railway station

The staff was kind and we appreciated the location really closed to the downtown. We had one motorbike and there is big parking for free behind the building, really comfortable

The room was too little, with bad smell which did not disappeared even after one day. The air-conditioned device made noises all long night. The breakfast is only sufficient

This is a bit basic but it "does what it says on the box" to use the colloquial. It's near the station, price is good, decent bed, towels, shower + toilet... View was nice from my room.

wifi was stretched (on the uppermost floor). I specifically checked how do I return the key (as it isn't a hotel with 24 h reception) and was assured just bring it down here. Then when I left, of course, the cafe = reception area was closed, so I had to improvise by going all the way back up to the room and putting the key on the table and messaging.... Small stuff but avoidable.The toilet/shower area is separated from the bedroom only by a curtain. I was fine with that (single traveller) but maybe not ideal if you are on a first romantic getaway.

For the price, the room was great - some lovely touches in the bathroom, with heated towel rail and decent hairdryer, and a good shower with toiletries shelf in. Very comfortable memory foam mattress.

No kettle in the room, but coffee is available in the reception area.There were no curtains and unfortunately, it wasn't until morning that we realised there were outside shutters you could close ?!

Parking (although not secure) and the receptionist was friendly.

It was very badly maintained - the building itself outside looked terrible, the communal hallway/stairs were very dirty and the toilet seat, cupboard door were hanging off their hinges in the bedroom, there was a gap/hole around the electric socket, etc. The toilet and shower room did not have a door for privacy, only a curtain.

Nice staff. Perfect location near the station. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Coffee served with a smile.

Water leakage in bathroom. Synthetic bed cover. Strange sounds in the walls

Staff were amazing, the hot water went off one morning but the staff were quick to get the issues resolved.

Floor in the bedroom could of done with a good mop

Great accommodation in a nice quiet part of town. Spacious rooms with a zesty fresh smell that hits you as soon as you walk through the door. Only a 45 minute walk to the Buffalo Grill as well!

Very friendly helpful staff. Good location, parking on site. Brilliant shower.

Car park area looked scruffy. A supermarket trolley abandoned and a pile of dumped building materials. Would look so much more welcoming if cleared up.

Private parking. Spacious room. Recently renovated inside.

Needed a kettle really, didn't want to depend on a site cafe (and didn't). Square pillows not great.

The receptionist was polite. The place isn't the best, however the bed was comfy and the hotel is very near to the station of train and flixbus.

It's not very clean and the bathroom is small, however is ok.

Clean, modern decor in the rooms inside a rustic authentic train station hotel. New owners who are welcoming and lovely. Very quiet. There is a garage for a few bikes.
