Campanile Auxerre - Moneteau

The location was perfect to take a break during your travel/road trip. The guy at the restaurant wasn't native english speaker but he did his greatest to follow the conversation. Really appreciate that!

You shouldn't expect much here. Just recharge and GO. Just something little to note, we had dinner at the restaurant and the food wasn't that great. The burger wasn't well cooked (as requested) and the portion ain't enough, even though I am not a big eater ;-) Maybe it was an instantaneous situation, but worthy saying.

Ideally located for travelling by road, easy to book, comfortable and clean, amazing breakfast

Somewhere to put our head down.

A rather run down hotel. We didn't eat there as not very clean. We thought it was overpriced. Wouldn't stay at Camponile again.

Very friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Good bed linen.

I could park directly in front of my room. A spacious room with a spacious bathroom (also good usable for wheelchair users)

a place to open my suitcase, normally you find a low shelf to place the suitcase on, luckily I could use the chair since I only had a small carry on suitcase.

The room had minimal furnishing but was generally comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good value.

The bowl of the toilet needed a deep clean to remove limescale and browning below the water level. Parking was dominated by commercial vehicles. We were refused an aperitif at the bar before we ordered our evening meal as the establishment could only offer alcohol with food. Being a little perplexed, we decided to take our custom elsewhere.

The room, sheets and towels were clean.

The room smelled really bad when I entered, this was due to the airconditioner that was on but really needs some maintenance or replacement.Everything is old and needs renovation.It was not possible to have diner here, not that I likely would have.

Warm welcome, decent accommodation.

Location wasn't particularly appealing, other than the proximity to the A6.

Convenient as near to motorway junction and good value

Restaurant not open at weekends and no bar facilities if you just want a drink. Also can’t take food from restaurant into room and as a solo traveller I do not like sitting in the restaurant by myself.

Bed was reasonably comfortable. Good location for the motorway

Room reeked of cigarette smoke. One pillow had a bloodstain. The whole place isn't like a hotel but a run down estate. Actually have shutters on the windows and area felt a bit dodgy.

Easy to find off the back of a long drive. Perfect location for picking up the journey the following day.

The room was quite small and our daughter’s bed was positioned halfway underneath a counter top so she could have easily bumped her head / fallen out of bed in the night. The restaurant was a welcome sight but the kid’s menu was grim.

Good location - just off main autoroute to Paris - next to a retail park with a few restaurants, bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water

Every thing wes easy and the staff spoke better english than I did French.
