    Pros +

    • Close to the old town. The staff was trying to supportThe water pool was clean and nice There is underground parking.Air-conditioning was good in the rooms.
    • Lovely hotel. Very good value. Immaculately clean. Modern. Nice swimming pool (unfortunately weather not warm enough for me to use this). Fabulous location. Did not use the car as all well within walking distance including good supermarket 5 minutes way and McDonalds:) Some nice coastal walks. Overall very enjoyable; had hoped for better weather but could have been worse and not the fault of the hotel!
    • Clean room, comfortable bed, helpful people

    Cons -

    • WIFI is terrible, stuck in 1990.... No even 1 charging station for electrical cars.Beds are very old and making a lot of noise. In general looks like hotel was not renovated for very long time.
    • The room was smaller than I had anticipated as this is an aparthotel. No comfortable chair to sit on. So very difficult to relax in the evening. Only two dining chairs. Nowhere to relax in the hotel e.g. lounge (just a few arm chairs on the landing). Nowhere to sit outside except by the pool (and this was closed at 7.00pm). Absolutely my fault but to add to this, I inadvertently thought I had booked a room with a balcony which would have given me some extra space/somewhere to chill early evening. When I arrived I had no milk (Sunday pm).. The hotel said they had no milk (even though this has a breakfast restaurant?). They also said no shops open. I walked for miles around the town looking for milk. Then discovered on the way back that there is a small supermarket (America Street) very nearby open most of Sunday which sold milk!! The cooker top did not work from day 1. I thought I didn't know how to use it and wasn't cooking anyway. But then on day 3 the lights went out. Turns out that the box had tripped. No instructions regarding the resetting of the trip switch. Although staff very responsive and helpful think it was perceived that I should know how to un-trip the switch! Never had to do that in a hotel! ( I think the dishwasher was tripping the switch and it needs review). I didn't use that either because I wasn't cooking but did put it on one day which was when the lights shorted. The bath shower switchover difficult to use. It got stuck. Again a member of staff did sort this out when she came to review the light problem. The hotel took 250 euros damage deposit which was 50% of the week's stay!!! And told to clean the kitchen when I left. But I would have thought I had paid for the cleaning in my weekly rate (!!) and to charge 50% and then have to wait 5 days for this to be returned to me is not great customer service. Also, asking for somewhere to be left "clean" is highly subjective.
    • Cannot keep the window open during nighttime, as it is pretty noisy on the street. There are three thermostats in the room and no information how they operate

Modern, clean, well equipped apartment with balcony. Good parking facility.

The location was a fifteen minutes walk from the centre. It might not suit everyone but we were happy. It was nice to walk through the student area. We preferred to walk and pay less for the accommodation than to stay right in the centre.

The staff was welcoming, smiling and very courteous, the room was very clean and very well maintained, all the necessary amenities were available, very close to city center

    8OscarPosted on: 3-10-2025

Location really practical, everything you need in the room, it was a last minute booking and it was really nice for our family

    8CarolynPosted on: 12-7-2024

Location was great for what we needed, clean and comfortable with easy parking included.

LOTS of spam emails from the moment I booked, and they’re still coming! Also the reception hours are very short, we almost had a big problem by not taking the code with us to re-enter the building.

The location was the best thing about the hotel. That's it really.

Room was not clean, balcony still had chocolate on chairs and floor. Staff where not very friendly, just wanted to get u booked in and away from desk. Door was repaired badly after what looked like it had been kicked in, only screws holding split wood together.

    5MathewPosted on: 10-23-2024

Staff were amazing and very helpful and the breakfast was also suitable. Parking was easy and accommodating.

As a family of 4 the room was very tight and not very comfortable. The property was run down and while the weather wasn't great the pool area looked nothing like it does in the photo's.

    8SeanPosted on: 10-2-2024

    Good location, nice size room

The pool was quite busy and quite shady

    5JacquiPosted on: 9-28-2024

Price and the fact that it had a pool, unfortunately weather bad so we didn’t get to use it

Hard to navigate walking in and out to the port, also tried to book a taxi for an early flight and the hotel was unable at short notice, the only one available was 75 minutes before the gate closedI had to spend an hour online and booked myself, very anxious

    5StaceyPosted on: 9-27-2024

    Basic but clean

Small TV, felt like student accommodation. Didn’t like that we had to strip beds etc, when we paid this much.

    6JacquiPosted on: 9-8-2024

    Excellent location for the town

Internet spasmodic. Stuffy atmosphere with only a fan.

    10HalinaPosted on: 9-6-2024

Loved the location and the pool, great having kettle and fridge.

    Nothing....it was all good.

    6DannyPosted on: 9-5-2024

The pool was good and staff were friendly.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the breakfast was limited, tasteless and very expensive for what it was.

    4PeterPosted on: 9-5-2024

    Not a lot really!!

Disappointing location. Frustrating not being able to check in before 4-5pm. Odd room layout and despite booking a room for two adults and a child the sofa bed wasn't made up, we had to make it ourselves. Swimming pool was not very inviting.

    9PaulPosted on: 9-4-2024

    Modern, clean, safe parking

    No air con

    7RaniduPosted on: 9-3-2024

The location was perfect. The room was good. And the facilities were good too.

The pool was very small , but it's understandable for the space and price.Housekeeping is an extra fee. New towls, etc.. is an extra fee.

    6AileenPosted on: 9-2-2024

Spacious rooms, good breakfast, nice pool.

Unusual self-cleaning arrangements given the price - had to put out trash, clean the room and put linen down the hall in baskets.

    7ChauPosted on: 8-25-2024

15 minutes walk to the town center, very helpful and friendly staff, we have a pleasant stay.

The property is not as new and clean as the pictures but the free parking is a plus.
