It is near the centre of attractions

The bathroom was awful.

The Ibis had a great swimming pool and common areas. The staff were terrific. Just 1km from the centre of La Rochelle, it was a great walk to and from the town. Nearby bakery and pizza restaurants were terrific.

The room was small, designed for low maintenance and efficient / quick cleaning. Thankfully I had it to myself. I could never have shared the room.

It was expensive for a budget hotel

Cleanliness. A surprisingly good lunch and a nice pool area. It's very clean. It's basic but very clean.

The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train station. The rooms are minimalist. The breakfast is good with standard options. Many families were staying here.

Excellent location, facilities and friendly staff. Very pet friendly, super breakfast in well designed restaurant. Very comfortable beds, good bathroom with nice shower. Very quiet hotel so slept well.

Room was on the small side for two people who didn’t wish to share a bed. The drop down Murphy’s bed was a relief as we thought it would be a bunk over the double bed but really would have been most happy with a traditional twin room. Didn’t need the corner shelf unit and the bathroom could have been a little smaller and then more room between beds. Sorry to be so specific but we have been hotel designers for 25+ years. Brilliant hotel for the very reasonable price tho!

Lovely hotel. 6 mins walk to centre of town. Good choice for breakfast. Fresh produce and plenty of food available. Room with balcony really bright. Clean and comfy bed.

The room was small for three people.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Unusually for a mid price brand hotel the bar area had a bit of ambience and it was pleasurable to sit and have a drink and light meal.

I thought the room was warm and stuffy, the air con was switched off and wouldn't go lower than 19⁰. If the window was opened there was a lot of noise from the street, the railway and helipad for the air ambulance.There was no glass/cup in the room which was awkward when I needed to take some medication.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good selection of fresh food. Hotel overall very good value for money. Pool was lovely even though end of season still heated.

The bed was against one wall so a bit difficult to get in and out. The pillows were not so good and had to ask for hairdryer at reception as none in the rooms I guess as budget?

This is the first Hotel Ibis that I stayed in since before Covid 19. It is a new much improved Ibis format. It exceeded expectations. It had pleasant helpful staff. The food on offer was decent. The room was very small but well thought out and quiet. They operate an associated parking garage and all the access systems worked without any issues.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything we experienced with this hotel was positive and as expected. Fairly close to the centre, a short 5-10 min walk along a direct route.

Central location, 5 minute walk to the old part of La Rochelle. Our stay was comfortable, room quiet and we had upgraded to have a balcony which was a lovely addition to sit out and relax.
