B&B HOTEL La Rochelle Centre 3 étoiles

The hotel is in a good location, walking distance to the old port and restaurants of the old town. Private parking is paid but by a very generous rate and it's guarded. The room was clean, and hotel staff is friendly. The hotel in general is a very good value for money.

Family room had 2 beds in loft - a nice spaciousness for privacy! 10 minutes walking to old town Grocery store along the walkGood breakfast

No air conditioning so opened windows without screening ( gained some mosquito bites)

Very central location, 5 mins walk from the harbour with it's restaurants and bars. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Paid €10 for the private car park and charged my car overnight for free!!! Superb spot with a great staff and a great breakfast too!!!

Honestly I couldn't fault a single thing!!

Breakfast,bed,

I asked for a second chair and was refused. There were 2 of us staying in the room.

Large apartments, sun blinds, very clean, modern shower and clean towels. We are happy with the choice of this hotel! We had a great rest!

The building needs some renovation on the outside, but everything was great inside! Oh, there was no hair dryer in the room yet.

location was excellent for us, I consider the premises to be more of a high end hostel, rather than being a hotel, the reception staff were 1st class

parking was quite tight, 10€ per night seemed quite expensive but it was essential as street parking was always full, breakfast was basic continental, quite bland but plenty of it

Good location near train station not far to walk into town. Clean and comfortable.

Clean, spacious room, perfectly located with very friendly staff

Having to go home

The hotel is well located in the city centre just 10 min walk, lovely staff, easy instructions, great communication, good space in the room and in the car park. The family room had two floors, plenty of space. There was a microwave downstairs that I found it very helpful.

The price could be more friendly and include the breakfast

Very tired b&b, drain smell in bathroom

This b&b desperately needs a refurbishment, room and bathroom very poor

Close to the train station and city center.

The room, the facilities, the breakfast. Although for the price it's ok, just the room and bathroom could be more clean.. we had no toilet paper on the toilet and the sink was stuck full of water. The room was not super clean as well but the bed sheets were ok and clean. The room gets super noisy with all the cars passing by..

Nice location between station and old port. Good off road parking.Room was comfortable and quiet.

Decent tea bags in room please!

Had problems with delayed flight which made me miss the first night but I asked them to keep the room open so I could check in on arrival early morning, there was no problem with this. Its across the road from the train station which is good and its within easy distance of the harbour fronts.

The rooms are standard but OK. The hotel is very near the station. The stuff is very kind.

We were travelling with colleagues, and had a misunderstanding with regard to different B&B hotels in La Rochelle - so it is recommended to double check the location. It is not a problem of the hotel, but good to know.

5 minute walk to port, centre of town, restaurants etc.

Great central location, lovely staff.

Need cups in the room

Great location and comfortable room

Breakfast was slowly restocked, and new was put over the old. Not enough towels or pillows in the room. There could have been a better stock of tea and coffee in the rooms, especially English breakfast tea. The shower could have been hotter and bigger. The shower door didn't need to be there, maybe a curtain.

Receptionist extremely helpful and welcoming Location close to train station Room large and clean

Pillows very bulky not comfortable

It is clean but that is about it

Noisy with traffic and people making a noise in the hotel

the hotel is near to the city. The staff were fine and helpful.

The Matras was really simple and uncomfortable. On top of that the matras was on a plain wooden bottom. All very hard to sleep on. Further, only one towel per person in the bathroom.
