The room is small but it was very clean. Location is great. Walking distance to everything.

The staff was very nice except for the woman working at the reception (I think her name was Laure). She was not very friendly. Everyone else was super nice.

I like the facility and the welcoming staff.

The toilet is a bit small but it's okay.

The hotel is nicely located on a quiet street of the old town. Carpet with bubble design was hilarious.

Room and especially bathroom was very small almost as in a small boat. We could not find a common language with one of the receptionists which is somewhat rare these days.

A great hotel in an excellent location. Lots of restaurants nearby and easy walk to museums etc. Excellent value for a night or two.

The rooms are a bit small with a very small bathroom and you have to climb up into the shower.

In city center, close to everything, close to so many nice places like restaurants, the central market etc

while the room was small it was fine for a short stay, with a comfortable bed, good sheets, plenty of sockets (though well hidden so it took a little while to find them!) and a compact shower room with a hot and powerful water flow. It was also quuiet and a short walk from the centre of town.

Difficult to drive to the car park given the diving restrictions on non residents!

The aircon wasn’t working or was just outdated for any cool air,which made the room was a heat trap in June.Everything else was good

Location - the main reason I booked it. A 3 minute walk from the main square where the airport bus drops you off. Also very close to shops and central market. Very quiet and it felt safe. A 10 minute walk to the old port.If you forego daily room cleaning service, for each day you do that, you can claim a free drink at the hotel bar. There is a fridge in the hotel bar where you can buy pre-prepared food. It looked basic but it’s good to have the option.

This sounds ridiculous, but the plug sockets were terrible. They were fitted in such a way (facing the floor!) that they were difficult to see and very annoying to access. There is no kettle, coffee machine or cups. I went prepared, but some visitors might not like this. The fire alarm went off one night and I could barely hear it from inside my room. I suspect some people would have slept right through it.

Apart from the location and helpful staff, not much to say.

Small rooms, no tea / coffee making facilities, shower room dangerously small & not practical….in essence aIt was like a hostel.

Well located.

No air conditioning in the room. 30 degrees outside and it felt warmer in the bedroom. Fan was ineffective. Every time we opened the window we were met with plumes of cigarette smoke. Smallest bedroom in the world and bathroom. Could barely bend over and touch my toes.

A perfect location for sightseeing within walking distance to all the sights The room is small but has everything that's needed The breakfast was is very good with a great variety We arrived early and intended to drop off out bags but a room was ready so we were given it immediately which was such a great surprise

The location is perfect in the old city center, ideal to explore the main attractions of La Rochelle and its surroundings. Easy access to the main train station and bus routes as well. The room itself is rather small but it's enough for a short stay and it includes all the equipment you need (good wifi, towels, shower gel, hairdryer, small table, hangers, good shower...). The hotel is located in a quiet street, windows have blackout curtains, ensuring good quality sleep. We met several members of staff, all very friendly, welcoming and helpful when it comes to practical information for tourists. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. We will happily stay there again.

Nothing critical. The room and bathroom are rather small, but it is to be expected in a city center and for this price range. It is perfectly convenient for a night or two.

Small and cosy hotel situated in easy reach of the city centre and surrounded by a good selection of bars / restaurants. Staff friendly, efficient and provided a good breakfast.
