- We find all the bright lights so disruptive to sleep …. The coffee machine, the refrigerator, the heating controls, when you’re used to total dark these mere small spots of light take on enormous irritants. Need to be masked. Also, always feel small red night light in bathroom/toilet at low level helps those getting older.
- The two restaurants were not on site and were a taxi ride away. This was not clear when booking. We ate in the Bistro which was disappointing and did not reflect ownership by michelin star chef.
- The amenities are very disappointing given the price. A tiny pool, no decent seating area (especially inside), no bar to speak of. This would all be fine if the room rate (and everything else like pets/breakfast/parking) wasn’t so expensive. Having stayed at countless 5 star hotels in France, given what it offers, this hotel charges around 50% too much.
