Hotel & Spa Tino Sveti Stefan

One of the best hotels in Ohrid! It’s right on the lake and has a lovely spa. The staff are amazing, especially Elizabeta — she was incredibly helpful and kind. She even upgraded our two rooms from deluxe forest-view rooms to beautiful lake-view apartments. We really appreciated it!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel & Spa Tino Sveti Stefan. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Ohrid and beautiful views to the lake. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with plenty of options. What truly stood out was the warm hospitality. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always went out of their way to make guests feel welcome. A fantastic experience overall!

The hotel shows signs of age, with dated furniture that has seen considerable use over the years. While overall cleanliness is maintained, certain areas have an unpleasant odor that detracts from the experience. The property does not meet the expectations of a 4-star rating. However, the breakfast is a highlight, offering a good variety and quality. Our room suite had a beautiful view to Lake Ohrid and this make out stay to forget all the issue of this hotel and also we have charge at 22kW for free the car :)

The hotel is quite dated, with worn-out furniture and decor that clearly show their age. Although the rooms and common areas were generally clean, there was an unpleasant smell in certain parts of the hotel, which affected the overall experience.Some of the amenities listed were not functioning properly (,weak Wi-Fi signal- 2 Mbps speed ).Overall, the hotel falls short of 4-star expectations in terms of comfort, maintenance, and services.

Some restaurant staff were a little rude, location is far from the city centre without a car, sometimes hard to get a park in the hotel car park, view from indoor pool is better than from outdoor pool

Friendly staff, beautiful view from the terrace towards the lake, neat and clean room. Delicious food in the restaurant.

There is only simple coffee on breakfast

The only complaint is the cleaning ladies. They start cleaning early in the morning and make noise in the hallway all the time. There is no rest on vacation.

Reception staff attitude, restaurant was disappointing, no pizza no pasta but advertised as pizza restaurant. Kids did not have a lot of food options.

Very friendly and helpful staff at the hotel, our roomwas lovely and large, perfect for a family!

Everything in the hotel was fantastic, and personnel was great…However we had one not good experience, my husband got an allergic reaction during the breakfast, at the moment we asked for medication, they couldn’t offer an emergency kit neither offered to call medical service. We had to search it by ourselves even though every hotel is required to have a basic energency kit…

We loved the big indoor pool on a rainy day. It was great especially for our little kid. Ok breakfast and comfortable rooms with amazing lake view. The offer (low season) was good value for money, but overall the level of service is not 4 star: spa and pool area is not very well maintained and not the cleanest; dinner buffet at the level of an average school cantine; staff more focused on listing rules than on welcoming guests. Can’t complain because the price was fair and the location is convenient, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Honest value for money, accurate booking description. Clean hotel with helpful, polite staff and 24hour reception . Dinner buffet and breakfast included in price with adequate variety Nice indoor pool with comfortable temperature. Beautiful lake view from the dining hall. Easy access from the main road, 4klm outside of Ochrid.

Minor imperfections, I would highly recommend it for a family or a couple. Small rooms, no indoor lounge, bit outdated. Accepts euros in cash but gives change in dinars.

Instead of toilet paper there were napkins. The towels and bed sheets were changed only after we asked for it

The hotel is located further away from the city, but it is a good starting point for hiking (off season). The room with the view of the forest was pretty calming. The pool, jacuzzi and 2 saunas (finnish with mint aroma and turkish wet room) were great to relax in. The staff was very nice, they tried to accommodate all of our wishes - sadly they didn't have bikes for rent anymore (mid October), but they did prepare us a prepackaged breakfast on the last day because our flight was super early. Breakfast and dinner were simple, but still nice, maybe some variety in salads and tea would be good.Ohrid and surroundings are amazing, we wish we could have stayed longer (were there only 3 nights), because if you want to see other parts around the lake, it takes time. All in all a great fall destination and also a good city trip.

Beware, that in the jacuzzi has some broken tiles at the bottom, I cut my toe a little. Please renovate now in winter. The games in the community room (like billard eg) are not free, you have to pay. Pretty expensive taxi from/to the airport, around 20 Eur. The walk to the city is quite long, around 40 minutes, but most of it is next to the lake, so it's a good exercise. Off season, there is only one convenience store nearby with a pretty limited selection and is opened only until 4 PM, so keep that in mind.
