Spacious rooms and bathrooms, attentive staff, excellent breakfast. Spectacular location and view.

Some parts were almost or entirely broken: the shower had a patch, the staircase had a broken step, the exterior doors didn’t close properly, and the TV on the lower floor only accessed basic channels.In my mother-in-law’s room, the bed heating was turned on before we arrived, and we only figured out how to turn it off the next day. Because of this, she couldn’t sleep (the bed was too hot). The TV in her living room had a disconnected cable—staff fixed it when we called the front desk, but this, along with the heater being left on, shows a lack of attention in preparing the room.Regarding the facilities in general, the pool table was damaged, and the ping-pong table was completely unusable (the paddles were of very poor quality, and the net was practically nonexistent). The exercise area had equipment that looked old or dirty, or perhaps just poorly maintained.Just a curiosity: there is a clothing store in the hotel that apparently is never open. We wanted to buy some sweaters but unfortunately didn’t have the chance, so we ended up purchasing them in town.Overall, the hotel seems to have seen better days, and there’s a significant lack of maintenance. Given the price of the stay, it should be in better condition.

The room was old and unclean. I left the hotel two hours after checking in; it was not possible to use it.

Disappointed!!!

Totally disappointed!!! Horrible food. The staff was doing their best but it was a disaster. I do not know if it was because was not holidays. A lot of noise behind our room. The staff doing their brakes and smoking in the back of the rooms. The food for the dinner was horrible. Mosquitos around the room. I felt in a one star hotel. It is a beautiful castle, but it doesn’t have the treatment for a 4 star hotel, not even close.

The photos are different than the real residence.

Everything was old, though we had taken the mountain view suite, being the best suite, it was not a comfortable stay

Breakfast wasn’t really great & few options & the beds were little uncomfortable but considering money I paid was ok.

The swimming pool was really dirt and shared bathrooms extremely dirt, with pee on the floor.

location and view are good. the staff is kind and available to help. the breakfast is fair.

facilities are quite old. there’s ongoing maintenance but you can notice that time has played it’s role there.

spacious room, fireplace, quiet, 10min drive to center, cheap and great value for money

it is not a hotel to relax or enjoy the facilities itself. rather a great place to sleep

the view and the chimeny

the hotel is very cold. there is no hotel facilities in the room. no mimibar, no coffee, no kettle even no instructions for the phone extensions or the hotel breakfast time. Notjing at else

The location is pristine and the room was spacious and comfortable.

First of all the value, it is totally overpriced for what it offers. The building is very old and you can feel it, seems like the hotel from The Shining. It needs a total renovation.

Definitely not the place to stay during cold weather. Bad insulation and barely any heater

The location, very nice and view was amazing. The hotel is very weel located, the rooms has a very nice view.

Old rooms, the first room was with a porch infiltration, so they change our room to another one, still very old. The breakfast is a very basic one, for the price you pay its not at the same level. The restaurant for lunch or dinner has no options, very few ones, taking into consideration the price of stay and location (far from the city) it would be good to have a restaurant with a nice menu. So was frustrating, because if we want lunch or dinner its was required to leave the hotel.

rooms are not sound proof, you can hear the nextdoor room and hall.bed not much comfortable to sleep, missed good pillows and duvet.

Beautiful view from the room and it had a nice hot shower.

The rooms and amenities are very old. No heat in the common areas of the hotel. Has a small heater in the upstairs bedroom. The wood for the fireplace was too expensive and caused a lot of smoke inside the room. The food from the bar wasn’t good and the breakfast made us sick both days. The pictures of this hotel are really cool on the outside but I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

the views were fantastic and the room was 2 floors large and comfortable with 2 balconies to sit and view the mountains. the staff was pleasant and helpful. the hotel is clean and well maintained. the indoor pool and hot tub were both working and heated. ample parking in the garage under the hotel. not far from the center of town while being up on the mountain. Overall great value here. I would be excited to return. Would be a higher rating overall if not for the hotel food.

The hotel FOOD!!!!! Ordered food at the lobby bar and it took over an hour to arrive and was not good after all the wait. The burger was just meat and cheese no extras and served not even on a bun just 2 slices of bread. The side order of french fries were way under cooked almost raw. Hard to believe after all that wait combined with the fact i was the only occupied table in the bar restaurant. The server was nice and professional but the kitchen is either understaffed or not working. Afterwards i took note that most guests order in and get delivery from local restaurants with the pandemic. The included breakfast was also very underwhelming. There were 3 chafing dishes that included scrambled eggs, pao do queijo and sliced hotdogs in a sweet sauce with onions. other than that i the breakfast consisted of fruit, cold cuts, cereals and breads.

View was fantastic especially during sun rise, clean air, bed is quite relaxing, bathroom are big and clean, front desk guys are very helping.

Its quite antique, stairs are making annoying sounds when you go up or down, they dont clean rooms when you sleep few night ( they said its due Corona virus !!)You have to take your bags by your own to your room, few stuff working at the hotel, breakfast could be better, no service if you want to drink a coffee or tea during the day.

the view is exceptional!

the room was not that good, not even close to what i expected.

It was delicious. They had a lot of different foods.

Maybe the orange juice could be natural.
