- There was a bad smell when using the bathroom because it didn't have a fan. I pointed it out several times, but they didn't pay attention.

- The people from ankara told us that the location is not good for girls. Still we didn’t face any issues

Breakfast
The room and location was ok
I booked the property for my brother who is an American citizen and a prominent doctor in Florida. The people working in reception behaved like he is a beggar seeking a free stay there while it was booked with a non refundable payment! as it seemed to be based on racial bias, probably because my brother is not white. The situation worsened when my nephew went to meet my brother and walking to his room to retrieve a laptop. The receptionist was rude and denied him access, assuming that my brother was attempting to accommodate my nephew without proper registration. To make matters worse, they confiscated my nephew's ID and insisted he return in 15 minutes to collect it. This experience was by far the most disappointing of our 7-day road trip, which included stays in Istanbul, Bursa, Izmir, Konya, Cappadocia, and Ankara. Unfortunately, this hotel’s reception staff demonstrated the most disrespectful and unprofessional conduct. Additionally, the breakfast provided was below expectations, further adding to our disappointment. Those working in the tourism industry should maintain a high standard of professionalism and courtesy, as behavior like this reflects poorly on the industry.
I really enjoyed my stay at Dab Hotel Ulus. The hotel has a warm and cozy atmosphere, and the design of the lobby and café area is very stylish. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is perfect close to everything in Ulus and very convenient for transportation.A special thank you to Selim and Elmas for their kindness and excellent service. They always greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome every day
Overall everything was good. Maybe just a small improvement in sound insulation would make the stay even more perfect.
Clean, convenient, really modern facilitiesFree coffee & tea
Bathroom smelled a bit like smoke
The receptions were very nice and helpful . The hotel s good value and clean. They did let me take breakfast early than 20 minutes due to my schedule to checkout early. Definitely I will come back ! Thanks for hosting !
Lobby is good
Ac is not working proper Bed is not comfortable Washroom is too disturbing by noise of side rooms
Very clean, very nice staff, good breakfast and many restaurants nearby
Limited parking, crowded streets
We stayed in a family room with Queen bed and one single bed. The room was quite spacey. Breakfast was amazing - wide variety of food options.
The hotel is located in a busy dwelling area with lots of traffic, including public buses passing by. If you travel by car, beware that it will be almost impossible to park even for a few minutes nearby the hotel. The hotel offers paid parking for 5 Euros a night, but the parking is not very close to the hotel. The hotel has a small elevator, but it is very old and a bit scary.
The hotel is very clean. But parking is a bit difficult. The staff are really kind and helpful.
The guy at the reception was really kind (don’t remember his name), he offered us a better room, early check in and a cup of Turkish tea.The room was really big and comfortable: nice beds, big tv, fridge with water bottles, kettle with tea and coffee and a nice and clean bathroom. The WiFi was great also. The location is good for us, right in Ulus with many transports and shops/restaurants
The hotel was new and modern. It has a nice large balcony. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Room was clean and designed well but small. Location was close to historical landmarks and shopping.
There was mosque close by which had extremely loud call to prayer every couple of hours from dawn to dusk. It sounded like the loud speaker was in my room. The hot water would run out after 2 min making for cold showersThe internet was weak and undependable. The neighborhood was a little rough. Breakfast was underwhelming. Not a good value for the price.
Nice spacious room, very modern, very good location also. Good breakfast.
The curtains are too small to cover the whole window.
Large clean room, friendly and helpful staff. I had an early bus, so they prepared a sandwich for me since I was leaving before breakfast.
The hotel is located a bit outside the touristy area of the old town, but there are lots of shops nearby and you can walk to the castle in about 25 minutes.
Good hotel, close to markets and restaurants, in a good position to visit some tourist attractions of Ankara. Nothing stands out as bad, it's a perfect place to rest a night or two. You can eat, walk to several markets, it's even within walking distance of Ankara Castle. There is breakfast included, with plenty of choice of sweet and savoury foods, tea and coffee. It's all perfectly functional. I wouldn't call it memorable or amazing, but it's filling, and there's variety. Everything in the rooms was clean and comfortable, and we could rest very well. Overall, it's great value for money and I'd recommend it for a short stay.
There were some small details that made the place seem cheap, overall. One of the rooms had a broken remote with batteries literally held in place with tape. The other room's shower drain didn't work properly and filled the box with water (but didn't flood the bathroom). These were all small things, and we didn't mind much. Some of the "clean" plates at breakfast were still oily when I touched them, but there were plenty of clean ones. The building is new, but doesn't seem well-insulated for sound. We were also a bit cold, because we only found one light blanket. There wasn't really an introduction so we couldn't know where things were, and I only found out that there is a common sitting area after I needed it for a call. Again, not too bad, but I would've appreciated a general introduction of the facilities. As one can see from the pictures, it's definitely not a place with a strong personality, but there's nothing that stands out as particularly bad!
We stayed here one night but I wish it was more. Really nice and new rooms. You get coffee and tea in your room with a bunch of amenities. Breakfast was really good
I paid less than $400 for a two week stay, so to ground the review, I would say for that price I got what I needed, nothing fancy, just functional. The room was small but clean, staff was nice and accommodating, location was close to the mosque (50meters), metro (7 minutes walk), grocery shopping, pharmacy, and Ulus market where you can find pretty much anything (food, hardware, pets, clothes, etc.). There's constant police presence due to several clubs and pubs in the neighborhood.
Unfortunately the Wifi was not working for the second half of my stay, we were told it's a city issue. Staff tried to help through their own network, but it only worked in the hallway or down at the reception. The proximity of clubs and pubs were not welcomed by myself but it's not a hotel issue, rather a location, but in general with police presence drunk people were kept in check. I once ran into two drunk girls on my way to the mosque at dawn and they were fighting and cussing and one of them crossed the main street running and almost got ran over by a taxi.
