    Pros +

    • Central, clean and dog friendly. Excellent parking facilities and cosy warm rooms on a freezing night. Staff very helpful.
    • The location was good near the town and the car park was secure. The bed was very comfortable and the buffet breakfast was very good for the price we paid.

    Cons -

    • It was nothing like the staged photos. The whole place lacked any atmosphere or personality. We felt alone and unsafe. There were men hanging around and even sitting on the window at the front of the hotel. Which felt uncomfortable.Staff were elusive. The room was dusty and didn't look like it had been used in a while. There were no staff around to help us get out of the carpark. Also they had taken down fire doors so thank goodness there wasn't a fire.We almost left but decided to try and sleep which we did achieve.
    • We booked a dog friendly hotel, with breakfast and parking included. We were told that the dog was an extra EU15, even though this was not mentioned on the website. (We spent 2 weeks at the Hotel Casa Marin in Galicia, also booked via booking.com. No extra charge for the dog OR parking. 1000 percent better than THIS hotel!). We were told the 'secure' parking gate would open with our room key, which it failed to do so. The staff member HUFFED when I returned to the desk, and started to explain to me what to do, as if I was stupid! I stopped him and told him to show me. He tried to open the gate with my room key, and one of his own. Neither worked. A fellow guest was passing, and his key worked. The staff member told me that the key failed to worked because I had not paid another EU8. The gate was then left open all night. So much for secure parking. The staff were surly and argumentative. The breakfast was poor. A machine served watered down pineapple juice. The coffee was very bitter and undrinkable, etc, etc.The hairdryer electric socket in the bathroom was loose and unsafe, particularly near water. The room was adequate, but the fridge had old items in it from a previous guest, so the cleanliness of the room was in doubt.

Good location, close to town and excellent safe parking next to the hotel

The beds were very firm, like most Spanish beds, so not ideal for me..

There is nothing I can say in favor of this hotel. The only good thing is the location, quite close to the Plaza Mayor and the parking lot, free for customers. The rest was horrible.

This was a disgusting experience. The price for the room is expensive for the null services provided, mostly as this is by far not a cheap hotel. Rooms were extremely basic, lacking any warmth and comfort, they were not very clean -e.g. bathroom- and clearly without a minimum level of care to make the stay pleasant for the visitor. Cupboards lacked drawers, so there was no place to put clothes and your personnel items, so everything had to be spread out. It was like staying in a youth hostel or a summer camp house but for a very expensive price. I would never recommend this place to anybody and will not return.

It was very convenient, in a lovely town. The manager/receptionist was outstanding. She went out of her way to look after all our needs.

Warm, clean room with a bath near the downtown.

Very short period for breakfast only 2 hours, 08.00-10.00.

Finding an alternative hotel at short notice.

There wasn’t a single service in the hotel when I arrived, could not get water, coffee or anything else. The hotel offered to refund me if I chose not to stay, which they did at the time, but they subsequently charged me the full overnight stay. I paid for two hotels that night through Bookings.com

    the room is big

I guess, at this time with the price everything have, asking for a clean room, heating at reception or when you have breakfast when is too much when the price is below 100 euros

Location for walk to the castle.

We arrived on Tuesday afternoon. Could not get the machine to work, that was supposed to give us a card to get in the property. Waited in the cold for 15 - 20 mins before a man arrived and let us in.The heating went off that evening and did not come back on, until the evening of the next day. No facilities to get a hot drink or snacks. Breakfast was very basic. No staff seen , apart from the one who came to let us in the hotel and take our payment.

The room was a good size and clean. Breakfast was advertised as from 0815 on a Saturday but coffee and croissants were available from 0750 which was good as I had to leave at 0815.

Check-in was a disaster. It was not clear anywhere that check-in was by machine and not at reception. The receptionist was somewhere else and didn't appear for some time. Regardless of how they booked, nobody had the right reservation number and the receptionist had to look these up in her computer and write them on a piece of paper for each guest. The machine charged some people who had paid in full an extra 10 Euro which the receptionist had to refund. It took over 30 minutes between arriving at the hotel and getting in my room after midnight.

Beautiful room, spacious and very clean. Staff very friendly, especially Elena on reception. Dog friendly hotel which is great. We even took breakfast to the room to not leave our dog on his own. Fabulous location just a short walk over the bridge to the centre of town. Private parking at the hotel.

Would be nice to have tea/coffee making facility in the room

    10SusanPosted on: 11-4-2023

Hotel great location for major road network. Walking distance to restaurants & shops. Allows dogs in the hotel. Parking available, but could be limited during busy holiday season. Breakfast was very good, plentiful and good choice available. Restaurant staff wearing crisp white uniforms, area of restaurant absolutely spotless.

Guest bedroom doors not the easiest to shut. Door required slamming to secure.

    the clean and big room

difficult to get into the hotel - nobody answering any phone - asked two times for invoice > no reaction - we arrived @ night ( after tiring & difficult travel ) nothing to drink at all - persianas which were Quite noisy - no taxis to be found in or around ….when booking it the site said; view on garden ( have a look @ the picture ….:-)

Safe off road parking. Very good breakfast. Location in town centre. Quiet during night. Friendly staff.

the breakfast was included and the bed was very confortable

there was no air conditioning and the shower only had cold water

    5BobbiPosted on: 9-25-2023

    Location and breakfast were good

Paid for a Suite which was very poor value as it didnt have any tea and coffee making facilities and no mini bar which you would expect in any level of hotel.
