AC Hotel Tarragona

It has AC, which is rare in Spain we discovered. It was modern and the beds were extremely comfortable.

It was a quite a walk to the beach and down the main rambla. Not much around the hotel was open on Sunday and Monday.

Location, parking, beds. We are not the first time here.

Soundproof between the bed and wc, which is in the room, is not good. But not terrible

The room was comfortable and reasonably well equipped, except it didn't have a coffee maker. Breakfast was very nice with a wide variety of foods offered.

It's a bit far from the main attractions and restaurants of Tarragona

Great location. Reasonable walking distance to ancient Roman site attractions. Low cost parking garage fees. Comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly staff and helpful with suggestions for nearby restaurants.

Great location in Tarragona, very walkable and right near the bus terminal so it would perfect to get around ! Very clean and nice accommodations. Right near the shopping area as well

Breakfast was very good. Very centrally located near a big bus station. Also only a short walk to a large shopping centre. There is a pharmacy and supermarket across the road. The beaches are easily reached by a number of buses only a short walk from the hotel. Staff are very welcoming. Hotel is really quiet which is an added bonus. Beds are super comfy.

Really I liked nothing

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL AVOID it ! 1) The person in the reception gave us the room late saying that rooms was not ready ( the check in should be at 3 ) - and after he gave us the keys ! Guess what the keys were not working 2) the bed was extremely uncomfortable ( we had 2 twin beds ) and one of them was probably broken 3) no facilities in the hotel ! And the money you are paying are a lot for nothing 4) it’s far away from the Main Street ( very far away )5) reception was most of the time empty !6) the breakfast has zero variety 7) I have read a lot of negative feedbacks but never thought it is really like this 8) for me is zero value for money

NICHT GEFALLEN HAT UNS: It was very loud in the night and there was a lot of smell of Cigarettes in our room. We couldn’t open the window because of the noise so the smell must have come in through the ventilation system. It was really ugly. But in the middle of the night we were way too tired to go down to the reception (or call the reception) for changing the room. It was one of our worst nights in a hotel and we are really traveling a lot - normally and higher categories. By the checkout, we mentioned the worst situation, but there was no reaction from the hotel stuff. So we have to guess that the hotel staff knows about the situation. We absolutely wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone

Hotel was 1,8 km from 'the old town's but it was a pleasant walk. It is close to a shopping mall and a small park. It has a parking garage for your car.

The terras on the roof was very basic. It is not inviting even with a good sunshine.

Cleanliness. The lavender sachets in the evening in the lobby

The toilet (the flush) broke down at night, the size of the bed isn’t enough for 2 people, there is no kettle and tea in the room, there was only one 0,3 bottle of water for 2 people (is that joke?) - I asked for one more bottle on the reception and have been denied. Breakfast is very poor also.

If you go down to breakfast after 7.30am then expect lots of missing items from the menu

No tea or coffee facilities in the room seems to be the standard in Spain

Staff were pleasant and did their best but staying off season means that there are very few of them!

The parking underneath the hotel is hell for anything other than a 1950s Fiat 600. Perhaps an exageration but parking with an Audi Q7 is definitely not recommended.

The position, bed super comfortable, most of all the personnel, fantastic

The bathroom door is a mistake, no privacy at all, even in nice marriages, some things you do not share
