Sb Express Tarragona

On site restaurant, spacious and comfortable room

Paying extra for parking

Location was perfect for walking around Tarragona. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable and large enough. The breakfast was missing a few things on both days and the coffee machine did not make great coffee.

The coffee machine at breakfast

Large rooms

Dated furniture, dirty appliances, plumbing issues.

Excellent location, convenient to the take the buses ,shopping, and restaurants.

Clean and gives the feeling of a 4/5 star hotel. Gym, room, lobby and bar excellent quality.

I didn’t like that parking wasn’t included

I liked the service from the front desk. In particular, Mr. Felipe, extremely courteous, very helpful, offering several directions, and recommendations, great human being.

The front staffs (both the day and the night staffs) were very friendly and attentive. I like that the cafe/restaurant is inside the hotel on the ground floor, offering the service from the morning until 23:00. The staffs at the cafe/restaurant were also very friendly and kind. The room was very speciaous with a comfortable-sized couch and a coffee table. It had more than enough space for two suits cases. The bed and especially the pillows were very comfortable.

- The room was not really clean. It was dusty all over the place. I do not think cleaning staffs do a good job at the hotel. - The bathroom was not well designed. When you have a shower it is impossible to keep the water from spreading onto the floor since the wall which divides the bathtub and the sink/toilet area is not wide enough. - The bed makes lots of noises and I could hear that the couple next door was “busy” the whole time during the night time…

Great location, breakfast was lovely, very clean and staff very helpful and friendly.

Doors banging at night

The staff was super kind and accommodating. The room was spacious and very comfortable.

We likes our stay in this hotel a lot, it is a well located, hotel with nice and very clean hotel rooms. Beds are comfy, not too much noise from the street (at least during our stay), overall we had a very good experience and can recommend this hotel.

Loved the location, the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Staff were excellent, facilities were great. The only downside was a large number of sports teams were present in our hotel and on our floor. These were teens and were moving between rooms alot into the early hours. It wasnt too disruptive and wasnt an issue with the hotel

Zero

It was good and the bed was clean. The staff was extremely helpful. They accommodated me with using English and were very polite.

No USB charge ports in the room, I think it is time to update here.

Bedding, comfort and location

Restaurant table service didn't propose us to drink with the meal.

I recently stayed at Hotel SB Express Tarragona, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The hotel has convenient parking, which made my stay hassle-free, especially in a busy area like Tarragona. The breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of fresh options to start the day off right. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations for local spots. Overall, Hotel SB Express Tarragona exceeded my expectations, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great service in Tarragona!

Lovely and clean, well organised and fairly central.

There was a bedroom door beside me which banged shut especially during the night when people returned from pubs wakening me up.

Our 2nd stay here, staff room breakfast all good.

Bathroom Door needed attention, would not close quietly.

Văd a short stay , everything how I expected, we had only one issue with the room door card , never working properly.Apart from that , staff very helpful and friendly….

For a 3 star hotel it was good

1 day, only one elevator was in function. Too much time to fix it. One day the towels were not changed by the staff.

It was a perfect stop over hotel on way to Barcelona. Really nice decor and comfortable room. We had a quadruple room with 2 teenagers and the size was really good compared to other quad rooms we’ve stayed in over the years. Location was 2min off the motorway , close to Parc Central and big shopping centre, 10min drive to the beautiful city centre. There were also 2 or 3 restaurants beside the hotel and a couple of supermarkets on same street. Good short stay option.
