- Beautiful location, the castle was beautiful, lovely walking paths, fountain was pretty, Free room tour ticket was a nice touch. Breakfast was good, nice to have water in the rooms. The view from my room was extraordinary!
- The very good looking of the castle looking from outside.
- +living in castle+beatiful castle and nice surroundings for 1 - 2 day stay+great breakfast+elevator+big parking lot for customers+ac (central, not temp. Adjustable)
Cons -
- There were lots of flies, especially in the restaurant, the bathroom had an odd smell, the castle some updating and repair
- 1. The restaurant we went to for meal in the afternoon is full of flies and we have to keep on guard to drive them away from our dishes. We managed to kill one with napkin. All this make us lose our appetite.2. There are one bee and several flies flying around in our room. They got on our nervous and it was annoying.3. The wooden floor of the hall way leading from reception to lift on the ground floor and the wooden floor on the 2nd floor are extremely dirty. The furniture like sofa etc put randomly on the hallway also looks dirty.4. If the castle hotel can re-sand and re-finish the wooden floor, clean away the dirty looking sofa and other furniture, figure out ways to keep bees and flies from the restaurant and room, this castle will be a very nice hotel to stay.
- Rooms were a bit small due to nature of old buildingCastle tour was nice but it was short but i believe it will get better in time with more investmentSqueky wooden ground floor

The grounds and exterior were lovely...as was the walk through the woods. The rooms available for tour were nice
The interior is in desperate need of attention. Everywhere we went it was quite shabby. The countless flies made us question whether we should stay the night as planned. Having them land all over our plates and glasses...and us...while eating was incredibly unappetizing. Hate to think what the kitchen was like.
We had such a lovely stay! Our room was perfect- with a view of the fountains and a balcony! Fun music and lightshow too!
Absolutely dreamlike experience to stay in a real big castle, with huge room directly overlook the music fountain and the show!
Hope the rest of the castle can be accessible during all days of our stay. It was only for one time tour.
The castle is stunning!! And it was very special to be there and wander the grounds in the evening and following morning; much more wonderful than a simple visit to the castle. The fountains that play to music are spectacular!
The staff didn’t mention that the fountain plays to music at certain times, so we MISSED most of it. I was VERY VERY sad and upset. The room was spacious, but there was nowhere to SIT except two straight-backed chairs! The room should have had a small love seat or comfortable chair. The restaurant was closed due to Easter but they offered a “package” for afternoon soup and dinner. The soup was lovely but the dinner was literally inedible (the pierogies were mushy and tasteless; the fish was dried up and tasted old; the sauerkraut and cabbage rolls were unpleasant) and was “cafeteria-style” with no place settings; it was not acceptable for the price. There were no vegetables (or meat!); and the dessert ran out two hours before dinner?! So strange.
This castle is very special. I felt like I was in a film or a book. The place just makes you dream and it's different for everyone. It reminded me of Agatha Christie's mysteries. Someone else might think of Buddenbrooks or Harry Potter. It's also interesting to learn about the history of the castle, it feels very real here and I would love to come back and stay a few more days. The restaurant was also excellent and all the staff were very helpful and friendly.
nice, unique location and facilities excellent takeaway breakfast (our flight was early and the staff took care)
toilet and bathroom were not attached to the room (across the public corridor) and were no so cleanthe heating radiator was not sized as per the size of the room / high roof and we were cold during the nightduring the day it was kinda noisy due to a kindergarten somewhere near
Beautiful and historic castle
Some rooms have been renovated, like the ones I booked for my kids. However, my room—the one in the tower—wasn’t very comfortable. It felt like little thought was put into it, with just a couch and two single beds pushed together, and nothing else to fill the massive space. A renovation is urgently needed.
The breakfast buffet was a full European offering complete with everything that one would want with a regional flair component. The palace rooms were spacious and clean with adequate appointments to the room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to enhance our Christmas holiday stay.
Property looked amazing outside, gardens are beautiful and the castle exterior looks great. The ladies at reception were nice and welcoming.
This is not a hotel. They have marketed it heavy on social media as a fancy hotel in a castle. It is way below standards for the price being charged, missing basic things like a bar. The restaurant dinner was poor and the staff are sitting around chatting, eating and drinking, getting up occasionally to take orders. I had some beef roulade, it was dry and flavorless(cooked earlier in the day or day before more likely). Once the restaurant closes, you are basically locked in a dimly lit museum for the night that hasn’t been renovated to the level of the outside of the castle they so heavily market.Had a beer in the cafe that closes at 18.00, couldn’t finish it, tasted so bad like it wasn’t poured in a long time. The breakfast was poor - the coffee tasted like the machine was not descaled in a while(I don’t take milk so easy to tell). At this point we decided to cut our losses and not stay the second night we had paid for. So disappointing, waste of 1300pln
The outside is nice looking.
The staff was very rude. The tour is a waste of money, the guide for the towers was rude and didn’t want to do the tour. Only guided portion was the towers everything else was on your own. The hotel shows its age on the inside and our room had a separate toilet and shower in different rooms in the hallway, not in your room.
The castle has been renovated, but it still maintains the rustic charm on the inside. The location is fantastic. Far enough to give a disconnected feeling, but not too far from essentials so that you feel lost. It is adjacent to a forest region, so people can go on a hike of they feel like. There is a lake in the front of the castle with some chairs and two piers. One can see multiple couples posing for photoshoots during summer. The breakfast spread is nice as well, with some options for vegetarians and gluten free bread.
Despite booking months in advance for a room with a view of the garden and the fountain, we were given a room with a view to the parking lot. I hope it had nothing to do with my colour. The internet inside the room was not great and it only worked if you are closer to the corridor or the room entrance.
Beautiful castle - very impressive to look at! Restaurant was nice and food tasty. Lovely grounds - we particularly liked the fountain and music feature.
The room we originally booked was very basic and small, so we asked for an upgrade which we were happy to pay for. The upgraded room was marginally better, with a kettle and slightly larger shower room. However the bed, despite being new (we think) was uncomfortable (it was two single beds pushed together, but the mattresses were very firm) and we didn’t sleep well, so we decided to leave after the first night. We felt that, given the outstanding surroundings, not enough consideration was given to the comfort and general experience of the hotel facilities.
The location we liked the most
Noise during the night. It was impossible to sleep. Some school kids were running around until 1am!!!! We called reception, and it helped a bit. They were still running but screamed less. Overall, it was not a good night.
Beautiful site. Good dinner and breakfast
Under renovation. Halls full of stuff. Many flies. No air conditioning.
Fantastic stay in the large Black Suite! This suite had a huge living room, a raised bedroom that overlooked the fountain and the grounds. The bathroom rooms had a huge dressing area and a separate bath shower. It was great to have access to many rooms in the castle and to stay in it. The grounds offered several trails to explore and a family cemetery to visit. The restaurant had great food selection reasonably priced for a castle.
The suite shows its age. The cabinets and woodwork are worn and showed scuff marks, the large living area could have used more furniture. While the classic walk down in bathtub was a great feature, none of its existing faucets and large vintage shower head worked. A modern shower tree was mounted to the wall opposite the big vintage shower head. So while the new shower worked it would have been better if it had been plumbed into the vintage controls and shower head. The room with this walk down in tub needs more lightning as it was dim and had an old institutional feel. So it was good to experience the vintage aspect, but it does need some modernization and repair to keep it commanding premium pricing.
Outside is great -
Our room had a musty smell- beds were not comfortable- only 1 pillow per person. No fan/ it was hot- no AC and bugs came in if you opened the windows -
Hotel room located at the castle. Free parking, free castle tour and excellent breakfast.
