Noise, no hot water, game room

The location was good for our purposes. The staff were friendly and polite. Shower pressure and hot water was good. Clean linens.

The property is very dated, paint chipped, our sink was cracked, evidence of water damage on the cheap furniture. The Air con leaked a lot of water, so we wound up using a couple of towels and the only rubbish bin in the room to catch it. Staff did come and have a look, but it wasn't fixed. The pillows were very skinny and when we asked for extra, apparently there was only one left in the whole hotel. The towels were thin and no extras. Our room smelled weird (which is likely the damp from the Air Con). The bathroom surfaces appeared clean but there was mould in the bathroom/shower which made it look gross. The bed was not very comfortable. The parking wasn't great as the spaces were small and most of the other guests drove big utes and SUVs, leaving us struggling. The doors (both internal and external) were tricky, and there are a lot of stairs and cobble stones so if you're elderly or disabled this is not the place for you. I felt the photos advertising the property were misleading.

Vault for money

Beds very comfy, clean rooms, close to motorway, good location. Nice restaurant.

TVs are pretty basic, internet slow, but still pretty good value for money.

The room was clean. The maintenance guy was nice and the room cleaning staff.

The noise outside my door as I was by the 24 hour entry and exit. Had people coming in and out. One of the receptionist the Asian man wasn't very friendly actually didn't even say hello seamed to be on his phone.

The ability to do a last minute booking

Some of the staff on the day we checked in seemed to be too interested in what was happening on their phone rather than learning how to do their job. Restaurant server eventually got there after me having to explain certain items on the menu.

You could hear everything going on in the next room. I fell asleep listening to a podcast and was woken up at 2am with loud banging on the interleading room door and being shouted at to turn my podcast off. My phone was on 20% sound so I could barely hear it!

Thin walls

Room was outdated, Alot of noise from corodor and surrounding areas. TV remote did not have batteries. The Chef has changed and the meals have gone back. Chips - Luke Warm, Steak order Med Rare, Came Med well.

The pool, spa and poolside restaurant & bar were a great vibe.We secured a very cheap rate for our room, which may be reflected in the negatives.I would expect a higher priced room to be more conveniently located away from these issues.

The main entrance door closes quite heavily - this could be heard and felt in our room which was up the stairs.A large (I think gas compressor or A/C) unit is secured to the external wall approx 3 rooms away - this was very loud and cycled on every minute or so.

Staff were lovely, price was very reasonable.

Very loud with other guests in the middle of the night. Generally a bit tired, could do with a spruce up. TV/Internet was intermittent

It's clean

The reception that served me it's not really friendly and I had trouble with my room hot water and they changed my room which is ended up getting the bed that I don't really like to sleep on it I ask for one queen bed and I ended up getting two beds put together I don't know what you call for that

Loved the bed, and the surrounding area was great. The hotel emailed us in advance about a potential event-related noise, which we really appreciated.

Spacious, clean rooms and friendly staff. Convenient to Sylvia Park shopping mall. Great breakfast available to purchase in the restaurant

We were told a few days before our stay of an event that meant parking was limited with no guarantee of an off street parking space. The event was a wedding and was noisy from 3-10pm as advised but after that there were drunken, loud people in the hotel corridor until 3am. Staff didn't do anything about it, even though they d been expecting an event.

as the winter coming and getting cold at night aircon doesn’t work in my room asked the staff and gave the instructions how the aircon works and yet i don’t have heater at night.

Just the location

I hated the fact that when the heat pump was not working, we went downstairs to the reception 3x and the duty manager asked us to go back in the room to kind of like troubleshoot it on our own. Also, the bed linen was very dusty and we keep on sneezing!! It’s very noisy too where we can easily hear the noise next door and I kept on waking up because I thought it’s in our room! Very outdated and poor guest service!!

Clean room although small and very dated

The walls and ceiling were paper thin so that noise from adjacent rooms was hardly even a bit filtered. I didn’t get to sleep until 0430

Location. Close to airport

People jumping up and down on upstairs level ALL night.. Strange room design. Could do with more accessable power points

Great service from the reception staff and housekeeping letting us know quickly when one of our kids left behind an item.

Found the beds quite hard and the kids found a couple of bugs in their room.
