- Nothing All was to pay apart the price They give us a room with a tabaco smell Bad service We ask for help to see if something was in the room they didn’t care at all
- Room smells like smoke, bad cleaning and our daughter's teddy disappeared inside the room.
Cons -
- Location was a bit out of town and there was quite a trek to get to the pool. The area around the pool wasn't very nice with fake grass and the pool bar was shut so we couldn't get a drink without having to walk back to the hotel cafe.
- All bad
- I didn’t like that in the BANO shower you didn’t have Escobilla WC Cepillo Toilet Brush.Toilet Brush in the room it’s important

Great hotel for a business trip. Great location, and staff was very attentive and professional.
Spacious room, nice spa.
We picked that hotel for the spa- and it was a deception to learn that it was 26 euro per person for only 1h30. Quite far from the city center around 10 min drive.
I traveled with my 2 sons so we could go to the Warner Theme Park. The size of the room and beds were larger than I expected. I slept in the single's bed, and they in the couple's bed. It could easily accommodate one more sibling if needed. There's plenty of free parking in front of the hotel, and the reception, which is open 24h, has clear view over it.Keep in mind that you need a car to go visit the Warner Theme Park.
I love the SPA in the hotel, the quiet place. Breakfast was amazing as well, with a lot of options for Vegetarians (a little less for vegan and gluten free). Beds were comfy
Restaurant has very few options for people with specific needs like vegetarians or vegan or gluten free (almost all with meat), the offer can be better
Large room with super comfy beds
Hotel was a little further away from town than expected but there was a regular bus stop nearby
Staff were friendly, room was clean and tidy, breakfast good.
I had hoped for a better evening menu. There was an extensive lunchtime menu- we got there at the end of service and the dinner options were very disappointing.
Very hot in the room because they said the AC unit was down. They gifted us breakfast which was very appreciated.
Three of us stayed twice - one night on the way to our holiday destination and one on the way back to Madrid airport a week later. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming... the lady on reception in particular, and she remembered us upon our return. Rooms were spacious, clean and with large and comfortable beds. Very pleasant evening meal and superb breakfast. Safe parking. Nice location.
The staff were outstandingly kind and helpful! Loved the spa too. Nice touch with the sweets in lobby and can buy some food 24/7. Lovely space and buffet was delicious.
The shoes in the spa were terrible ?
The Hotel Occidental Aranjuez is clearly a business hotel and located (way) outside the city. It is very large, has a large outside pool and a lovely, though very dark, indoor spa - the last one is not for free! The rooms are spacious and the breakfast buffet offers you the classics: hot and cold, sweet and savoury, even fresh fruit salad and plant-based milk. That's a plus for vegans! There is plenty of parking space outside, between the hotel and the casino next door.Good price range and I think the better choice if you have a car - but do read the negative remarks!
The hotel receptionist that 'welcomed' us was simply horrible and seemed personally offended we thought the swimming pool was still open - summer season just ended, apparently. In contrast to what we found online, both the restaurant and the swimming pool were closed. We felt we were treated as squatters, not customers ?So we didn't bother to ask, late in the evening, whether the outside billboard-lighting could be turned off. Our bedroom was right behind it, in a seemingly empty hotel! The heavy curtains served well - partially.Apart from that, this very welcoming and charming staff member ? was constantly indicating the hotel was past its glory days. Apparently, it lost a star and the management was planning a future update and refurbishment of the hotel - we could tell.To be fair, after our little discussion with the receptionist, the local management offered us a free hour in the spa (for 4 persons), which was very relaxing! (Although they had to sleep over it and ask 'higher management' for permission).Apart from a small supermarket (Día or Spar), there is nothing else here. You'll have to take the car to go to the city centre, e.g. to find a restaurant for the evening. We gladly did.
The hotel is clean and spacious Friendly staff get for a night stop over We didn’t see the spa facilities as we don’t ask about the pool was all covered and closed
View from the onsite restaurant onto waste land such a shameLimited menu but defiantly good value and does the job
Large room. Good shower
Bland. Parking difficult. Restaurant just junk food though staff were good
Would definitely stay here again - staff are very helpful, kind and accommodating. Rooms are as advertised, very clean and comfortable. The spa was incredible and very well managed. Breakfast had amazing amount of choice and was great.
Location is good if you take the time to research what's nearby. Need a cab to get to the local town/restaurants/train station. Perfect place if you're looking for a calm, relaxing place outside of Madrid city.
Extremely comfortable and very large bed. Good breakfast. Lots of free parking available. Friendly staff.
The room looked in need of a refresh soon. A bit remote - quite a long way from town
the breakfasts were great. the social area at the bar was pleasant. A good place to gather. Good location, not in town but close. pleasant staff.bed was comfortable and the pillows were great!!!
