Pros +
- Everything: the location, the room, the breakfast, the staff. First, the location/building: it is in the old part of the city on a narrow street in a lovely old stone building. It felt very solid. The room was exceptionally nicely furnished: the bathroom was large, well-lit and looked recently refurbished. All of the surfaces and the lighting were top quality. The breakfast was amazing: many options and more than just a continental breakfast, there was tortilla de patatas, chorizo, croissants, tarta de Santiago, cafe con leche, freshly squeezed orange juice and more. The staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
- In general, everything was ver good, including the location.
- Beautiful rooms, great location a short walk from many great places. Underground onsite parking was ideal.
Cons -
- I honestly can't think of anything that could use improvement. I really liked everything and would stay there again if I get the chance.
- Breakfast was good but was boring considering it was the same every day. After 9 days, that gets old.
- Gym was not open

Wonderful facilities and breakfast. Location was great. Staff was helpful and friendly. I’d highly recommend to anyone.
Good location near the river, quieter part of town but still very easy to get everywhere
Gym was not open
Beautiful room, huge bed and extremely nice and helpful staff at reception desk (Borja was really outstanding, kind and helpful!)The spa is wonderful and worth reserving. Breakfast was excellent and location just in the old town near everything. The building is beautiful.
Everything was great.
Great location, clean quiet comfortable room.
Terrific location, comfortable, quiet room. Excellent breakfast!Friendly staff.
The shower was difficult to use.
Very comfortable room, spotless, and the cleaning staff was very friendly. Good bed. The breakfast was over the top good and the lady in charge of the breakfast service was so friendly and helpful.
Central location. Modern facility. Wonderfully kind staff, especially Candela. Delicious breakfast with lots of protein. Lovely wait staff who made sure I had a “care package” for my next day on the Camino.
I understand that having a full-on restaurant might be a costly thing for the hotel, but please, at least a rioja bar with a couple of signature easy-to-make tapas, for those guests (like me) who prefer a quiet evening away from the crowds on Calle Laurel. This addition would definitely make money.
Excellent staff - Pablo at the front desk was fantastic with helpful suggestions for things to do & a handy map to show us where to go. Breakfast was very, very good.
It was noisy in the street outside our window at 4am. Not much the hotel can do about that, but it did detract from our stay.
Lovely clean room excellent location easy parking
Excellent location in city center, close to main landmarks. Staff at frontdesk was very helpful and kind, we appreciated their support to fix mistake in the reservation and recommended best spots in city for dine out. Room was spacious and comfortable.
Nothing significant. Lighting in bedroom could be improved.
Location is great. Parking was great - decent size spaces and easy access. Breakfast was good with range of choice. Our bed was comfortable with good linens. Shower also good. Attractive decor. Very helpful and welcoming receptionist.
Our room (305) was very dark. Just lamps on the side of the bed. Fine in daylight but impossible at night!
The staff were some of the friendliest and most accommodating that we’ve ever encountered. The room was perfect with a comfortable bed and remarkable shower. We enjoyed the location and sightseeing in the city.
We loved everything about our stay.

Difficult parking
The location is wonderful. The hotel is very clean and the room was very big.
One could hear absolutely everything that happened on the street. Luckily it is a quiet one, but still we woke up a couple of times in the night. The parking was full. They indicated where to park and said it would be no problem but actually it was all full and we lost a huge amount of time until we could get the car sorted. I asked several times for an option to check out late on Sunday and never got an answer. I got bombarded with messages to do a virtual checkout instead. In the end we just left earlier, which altered our original plans.Although the hotel is nice, I found the value for money wasn't great.
The breakfast had a lot of variety and was good although a bit expensive. The room was well appointed with good lighting. The shower was large with a great rain shower.
The parking is a nightmare. Just hours after the “free cancellation” deadline we received parking instructions which required three paragraphs of explanation and included notice of police cameras and submission of licence infor to the police station. If this information has been available during the free cancellation period we would have cancelled our stay. We also reserved a handicap parking space but arrived only to be told they gave the space to another client by mistake. The parking lots are several minutes walking from the hotel but are free.
Excellent location, very clean and well maintained. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good bathroom and dhower
