Hotel Ciudad de Logroño

Rooms and beds were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was the best! This was our first night in Spain before we started on the Camino and probably tired out the reception staff with our questions and requests, but they were very responsive and helpful.The location is great for a close and easy start to the Camino. And it was also very quiet.

The booking.com description said it had a/c, but reception staff admitted it wasn’t working. The rooms were warm and stuffy when we arrived, but after we opened the windows and it cooled down in the evening, we were fine without the a/c.

The hotel was very nice, all employees were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good and not expensive, the hotel had parking which is not very common.

Nice hotel room. Very roomy and comfortable. Quiet area a short walk from the old town. Enjoyed having a bathtub after walking a Camiño.

Bathroom needs a larger bathmat as the partial shower door allows water to go everywhere. A hand towel would also have been helpful. Although the area was quiet, the walls are thin and you can hear every time someone shuts a door.

Everything was of a high standard. Very clean and comfortable and I highly recommend it especially if you want to stay near the train station or the bus station. The hotel is a short walk from both the train and bus stations.

It was a little walk to the main part of town with the restaurants. I don't think I would really recommend Logrono as a place to stay, but the parking was great and their breakfast was very good.

As a pilgrim, the A/c was a major highlight! I thought I booked a room with two twin beds for my dad and I but when we got to the room it was a queen, I went downstairs and shared my confusion and they gave us a room with the two twins without hesitation.My dad flew out of Logrono and they were very helpful getting us a taxi.

They didn't have a restaurant...just a bar and the bar was cash only.

the location was fine. one of the front desk was nice.

room with two twin beds. only window opened out to a ground level of the back of neighborhood apartments. the bathroom had sewer smell. when I washed in sink the water and soap started coming up through the tub line and trash came up as well...very gross.the front desk check in staff was rude and couldn't be bothered to smile as I was trying to communicate in Spanish after a 30km walk.

A little further from the city center but since it was Thursday of Holy Week, it was probably a lot quieter than right in town by the cathedral.

Comfortable hotel in a central position to the new centre. It’s a 15 minute walk to the cathedral and most of the restaurants.

People having a loud argument about their dogs behaviour in the park next door at 2 am ( can’t really blame the hotel for this). Lift got stuck with us in it staff were really not that interested in getting us out.

I’m not sure if it’s seeing me travelling with a backpack or because it is a Booking.com booking and not directly though the hotel, but staff in hotels seem to feel they can pawn off the worst room in the building. I was stuck at the rear with literally no sight of sky! AWhen checking out, I handed in the key at the desk and was met with a “thank you” and he walked away. I assumed that they had already taken payment though Booking.com and began to leave the hotel. I was followed out and berated by hotel staff that I need to pay and spoken to as if I purposely left without paying. I was embarrassed and upset by this.

No good very bad behave special reception counter

I stay one night reception person not behave he don’t know the English also I have booked the hotel through booking .com but second day demand payment for rent After our explanation he not agree then I pay again but I have all receipt of payment that booking . Com deduct my bank account they are cheating customer and not reliable hotel I contact him by mail but not reply us with receipt of payment now we are waiting his reply must returned my payment that take two time

Well situated in the heart of Logroño, the room was spacious, above-standard some of the hotels we stayed at in Spain. Very clean and superb beddings. Parking was key and one of the reasons we considered this hotel.

Navigating through the parking garage was quite challenging but the fact they have one is a factor. You need extra-ordinary driving skills to make it work!

The staff at this hotel were fantastic and helped with everything we needed. Although this is a little older hotel, it was extremely clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

It was a little further from the Camino route for us but that was not an issue.

The rooms are not soundproofed so you can hear people talking in the middle of the night. I could hear the cleaners taking items out of the cleaner’s cupboard which was right next to my room. This was very early in the morning. You need to fix the noise issue. I had very poor sleep.

As we had 2 rooms, we received rooms close to one another and clean.

The lady at the front desk was not so pleasant; however, the man was very kind.
