Beautiful building in the heart of the city, walking distance to everything.

Unfortunately the property has been poorly maintained, with water damaged carpets, flooring and areas throughout the building. The front desk is walled off from the entry with glass door, so even though the staff were warm and welcoming the access was very limited and the feeling of the building is cold and a bit shabby. The room itself was adequate, but lacked any amenities to create a warm, welcoming space. We had our small dog with us, so options were limited, making this a choice that we felt we had to live with, but not necessarily an enjoyable place we’d want to return to.

The location is great. The place was clean. The front seat staff were welcoming.

We booked two double rooms. One was fine, but the other was very small. It had a double bed for my husband and I, but no space to stand on the sides of the bed, no night table. Very tight!

The location is excellent. We were there one night, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The bed was very soft and small for two. Adequate breakfast. I would recommend this hotel for it's wonderful location, great stay.

The room wasn't very clean, especially the bathroom; the waste basket was full of waste from the previous occupant. I requested a full queen bed but got two twins, and they said they didn't have rooms with that type of accommodation at the moment. The hotel and rooms need some updating.

There was a foul smell from the plumbing in the bathroom..Old hotel with a bad smell..

Fantastic location, everything is within a few minutes walk. Oviedo is my favorite small city in Spain, the beautiful architecture, in every plaza you will find traditional folklore music and dancing to entertain you. Best food in Spain go to Tierra Astur Sidreria for a meal you will never forget. Don’t miss Camilo de Blas bakery that has the best pastries on the planet and has been in business since 1914. We spend 2 months yearly traveling and are so happy to have had this experience.

Loved everything

The hotel could not be in a better location. It is steps away from the center of the city and landmarks. The room was a bit small, but it was very clean. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would stay there again.

The location is great and the room was spotless. The hotel however lacks the character we typically find in Spain. It was perfectly functional and well priced, but with exception of a very beautiful view, it was just a place to sleep in a clean bed.

I'd recommend spending some money on renovating the property and making it feel less like a chain motel. Make it feel like we are staying in beautiful Oviedo.

An excellent location overlooking a scenic square and within easy walking distance to all of the wonderful things Oviedo has to offer including restaurants, tapas bars, architectural sights, and markets.

I have stayed here on two different occasions, and this place does not disappoint. This time I had a lovely room with a view of the cathedral. I was worried that there would be noise from nearby restaurants, but there was none, at least on a Sunday night.It was very hot while I was there, and they have excellent air conditioning. This isn't always the case in European hotels where there is air conditioning, but it's weak. That's not the case here. There's also a taxi stand right outside. The hotel is near the old quarter and restaurants.

The bathroom had mold, the chair cushion was old and dirty and the counter was chipped. The fridge didn’t cool. The entrance carpet to hotel was old and dirty.

The location was absolutely perfect as well as the rooms and the staff were very helpful, friendly and it was very comfortable and homey.
