Exe Hotel El Magistral

Very cool room with an amazing view.

Exe Hotel El Magistral has an excellent location, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The only downside is that the hotel feels a little worn out and could use some updating.

Very quiet (we like it that way). Spacious room. The parking is close, try to get as far from the entrance as possible, because that gets you to the elevator closest to the hotel. Old town is at the doorstep. Everything is close and accessible. Breakfast is fine.

Everything of this stay, from the minute we arrived until the very last moment when we checked out was PERFECT!!!This will be my official stay when we return to Oviedo, we will be traveling here often as we are scoping things out to buy a property. EVERY SINGLE PERSON we interacted with at hotel were amazing, front desk (all the ladies there), the gentleman at breakfast, housekeeping lady. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, hands down!!!

The location perfect, just a street away to the Oviedo cathedral, near to shopping stores and a few minutes walk to the train and bus station.The staffs are helpful and the breakfast is good, you have everything.

Good location near to the old part of town, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Clean and large room with strong wifi. Receptionist friendly and helpful. Would be happy to stay here again.

The location was excellent! And there were many restaurants and shopping areas close to the hotel.

I didn’t like that the sheets had blood stains and I didn’t notice until the next day. That was a disappointment. I told the front desk and they changed them but that should not have happened. It was unacceptable.

Bathroom large shower partition glass half length and swings so don’t lean on it harder to keep warm until room steams up

Location is superb. Our room on the top floor is cozy (but not small at all). Good value for such an amazing location.

I’m a light sleeper and I could hear people partying on the street at 2am. Also, there was water dripping in the toilet. The room looks a little tired.

Very good location, nearby the cathedral and other historical buildings. Supermarket in the neigbourhood. Nice personell. Clean. Modern interior..Good breakfast.

Great location minutes away from cathedral and Gascona section with all its sidrerías (great food at LA NOCEDA). Not too noisy given its central location.

Met at reception by bi-lingual staff. they helped with check-in and advice on what food/restaurants were good close by. The location was great being in the centre and classic part of Oviedo close to the Cathedral and the starting point for the Camino Primativo.

The location is perfect: in the historic part of the town, all institutions that I needed were in 5 to 10 minutes walking distance: University, museums, city centre.

The street is pretty crowded and people loud - especially on weekends. Being on the 5th floor diminished the problem but if you want to keep your window open during the night, ear tabs are very useful.

The staff and location are great. The rooms are wonderful.

The location and cleanliness.

Every time we showered the bathroom felt like a steam room. All the walls were wet. No common areas to seat for a cup of coffee.
