El Retiro de Cardea

The staff are very good and very helpful. I was coming from the US and was afraid of language barrier but very polite and helpful staff. Good location with a Lidl supermarket in walking distance.

The rooms were small and whole of Europe hotels has different feel compared to the US hotels..i hope the room were bigger and had more windows with sunlight.

The location was a bit far from the main town but the walk there was np problem.

The hotel is nice, staff is super friendly and always helpful. What I am disappointed with are: walls that are so tight that you can not fall asleep late evening because of neighbor's TV or intimate games; breakfast that includes only one toast, cup of coffee and glass of juice. The location is not the best one, but it depends and was quite good for me as long as 15 mins walk from the city center

Great little hotel for visiting Oviedo. Easy to walk to the city centre or catch a bus from near by. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of places to eat nearby.

Leg of bed in 201 needs to be checked.

I enjoyed this hot because it's near everything important, I'd you don't mind to walk it's just 20 minutes from the center and it is in a quiet neighborhood.Nearby, around 3 min walking you have bars/restaurants to eat or to have a drink.

I actually liked everything

Everything was perfect, especially for the price. Very friendly and polite staff. Exceptionally clean rooms. Nearby LIDL, cafes, a little park, the hospital. The bus/train station is not far away, a 10 minute walk.

Location

Room smelled like smoke, also bad airconditioning. We booked a room.with 1 twin bed and 1 single bed or 3 single beds. Didnt get it because owner said we weren't with 3 persons. Why give the option to book???

The room was simply decorated but fine for my needs, and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was nice and tasty.The staff were really nice and friendly, and Frederika was very helpful.

The bathroom in #502 could do with some repairs - broken tiles on the floor, a chipped bath/shower, and the wash basin is cracked and the plug does not seal.

Breakfast was really basic, would imagine better. It contained coffee, bread, cheese, ham, croissant, juice.

I stayed here for two weeks. Everything is good except that the lamp always hit my head. Lol
