Location. Breakfast is good

Very noisy in early morning. Cleaning crew entered the room twice even though i had the do not disturb sign

1) The location. It’s close to everything : the station, the city center, the restaurants2) clean and overall comfortable, nothing special, but comfortable. The bathtub was indeed slippery (as was stated in previous reviews), but otherwise ok.

1) the room was worn out, need refreshments. It was not pretty at all (by no means this is Mariott family)2) no soundproofing whatsoever, zero. It’s like you’re sleeping in the hall or at your neighbors’ room or at the restaurant terrace if you have front view and there is a concert at the restaurant terrace (which by the way is illegal after 10 pm, but during my stay the music played till 11:30)3) no tea kettle in 4* is weird, I agree with previous reviews, it’s like basics4) receptionists: they were not rude particularly, they were not helpful or welcoming either. They were just within the boundaries of «giving the minimum », I think one of the guys did not understand English (which is again, weird in something that has a tag « Mariott » attached to it) or maybe he was just genuinely uptight…

The room was modern and comfortable. The bathroom was amazing.

The parking area is extremely small and tight. We had to wait for a van that got stuck trying to navigate one of the sharp turns— they ended up having to back out and even scratched their vehicle in the process. Accessing the hotel from the garage is also a bit confusing, as it requires going out onto the street, which isn’t clearly marked until you figure it out. The staff was efficient but not friendly, more so the manager than the person behind the counter. They were short on their answers and apparently got a little upset when I asked if I would collect marriott points on my card while reserving through booking.com.

The staff were so friendly and really took care of the guests. I had a broken leg (which I had just gotten that day), and they helped me to my room, assisted me with my crutches, and were available to help me with my luggage. The hotel is also very nice, with a lovely little terrace, an excellent breakfast, and literally adjacent to the train station.

Everything: polite, friendly and helpful staff, comfort, cleanliness, atmosphere, views, location, breakfast…

Not critical but: AC sometimes self-adjusts to the temp different from the one you set but it was a really minor inconvenience, this hotel is 10/10

Comfortable and location was great

The treadmill at the gym did not work.Information given about parking was wrong initially which caused me to go up and down from the garage a couple of times.

I love the staff spacially morning for breakfast

No coffee in the room and no machines for coffee or water or nescafe

The location is amazing! The view from the room I had were pretty good too- Some of the staff such as Beatrice and Daniela were really polite, patient and helpful.

1. The WiFi is really really bad, terrible- it either wouldn’t work or was exceptionally slow needing me to switch to my data quite throughout. Checked the speed on speed net and it logged for about 1.11 mbps download speed.2. The TV wasn’t connected to the internet so, basically, you could only use it to watch what they had provided- and you because of the poor internet connection, you couldn’t watch what was on your device either-3. Temperature control is definitely out of your hands- the day I walked in, it was quite warm so I tried to turn the AC on and it turns out that you cannot turn the AC because it is set to the heater mode universally and you have no control. I had to sleep with my window open which meant that I had to listen to train passing though the night- not my idea of relaxation entirely-4. The breakfast was all entirely awful- the toaster is a little broken- the upper lights don’t come on so it takes forever to toast. The scrambled eggs are over cooked and laid out in a pan that is constantly heating them- eggs cook in their own heat and you can imagine how terrible this could be-. The coffee is the capsule coffee and boy, some of the worst coffee I have had. The Spanish omelette- tortilla de patatas shared quite a semblance with cardboard- with the inside also entirely cooked. It seemed like a bare minimum thought has been put into breakfast for an establishment as renowned as this one.5. There is one 500ml complimentary water bottle left on the side table, but the room has nothing else in it.6. The charging ports are really weirdly located- there is only one on only one side of the bed- but you may find other ports elsewhere-6.

Horrible acoustic . You can hear everything that happens in the next room, specially in the bathroom, I mean EVERYTHING! The bed is small and mattress needs an update (too soft)

I arrived by train at 10 pm, so I appreciated the fact that it was right above the station.

location was perfect as close to station and we were taking the train next day to Madrid

Great location about 10 mins walk into the old town but also very close to the bus station. Although it’s over the train station it’s very quiet. Large and comfortable room.

This is a large modern hotel set above the railway station which is now below ground level. One suspects planners anticipated greater use of the plaza above ground. The hotel has all the comforts of a large commercial entity, but is a little impersonal.

Very big and modern hotel, with spacious rooms and common spaces. Very professional staff (especially Luis). The city center and the Cathedral are at walking distance (20 minutes).

It is a bit anonymous, but this is normal in this kind of hotels.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable beds. Very good location, close to an area full of restaurants and a lively ambiance at night.

The rooms were a bit small and basic. The staff in general was friendly, but because of one lady at the front desk, I have to say that not everything went well. My sister went to ask a question, and this lady was in a bad mood and answered in a very rude way. Although later she changed her attitude and helped my sister with her query, it shouldn't have happened.

The hotel was clean, friendly, comfortable and a great location

Sadly the breakfast was a bit of a let down. There was little out as the poor (lovely and friendly) member of staff was on her own most mornings. The only thing I would change next visit is to skip ordering breakfast as there were so many lovely cafes opposite the hotel (which would have been cheaper)
