Pros +
- Clean, new, good food, good facilities
- Breakfast was exceptional i.e eggs to order, etc. The pool experience was the best we have ever had. Our dinner at the hotel was excellent. The area around the hotel is great for peaceful walking, long and short walks. We had two massages, both the best we've ever had. The village has a few restaurants if you need a bit of variety.
- Fantastic complex and spa facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was great. Looks of choice and quality.I hope to return.
Cons -
- We had two rooms; our Junior Suit was perfect. The second room was a single, and needed to be changed since the first was disappointing, but the change was made and all was well.
- It felt empty and eerily quiet. There was a lot to do in the hotel and spa but not much guidance or information about what was available unless you asked directly but there’s a limit to what you can ask for if you don’t know what they have
- Dinner was fine as part of the half board arrangement but value for money could be better for some of the dishes, which lacked a bit attention to detail. Desserts were great!

Amazing buildings, surreal setting, beautiful and very interesting. Like a cross between a James Bond film set and a historic 18th Century spa… amazing, definitely go

- Beautiful and calm area in close proximity to Oviedo with wonderful gardens around the hotel - Great breakfast buffet with lots of sweet and savoury options. Great cake and pastry selection every morning- Spacious swimming pool area Aquamax with indoor and outdoor pool: Family-friendly with lots of children but also easy to find some quiet spaces to relax if desired

Friendly staff & fabulous spa/pool facilities. Good sized room. Restaurant. Cyclists note the excellent bike garage.
Lovely area. Hotel well appointed and comfortable but also very relaxed and friendly. Staff very helpful. Facilities good.
All good
Location in a remote location, and the environment around it is very nice
Limiting space time to 2 hours daily Need to book breakfast and spaSpa facilities were not well designed- like public pool design. Loud noise from children, water not enough heated, no drinking water facilities in the spa.Hotel corridors were not sufficiently heated- unpleasant to stay in public spaces or move, even within the spa area. Hairdryer very small, No coffee or tea facilities in the room or any public space aside if the bar. Carpet room not nicely maintained. Not eco friendly or health promoting
Location was great and the hotel is beautiful. Aquaxana is a great spa and the breakfast is phenomenal
Our room was not ready until 2,5 hours after checking inThey do not have plus size robes available even when asking in advance so bring your own if you need it for the spa
Having access to the spa was a treat!
The basic amenities in the room was sparse. No facial tissue, shower cap or other similar items.
The bed was super comfortable and the bedroom felt luxurious. The spa was delightful - we enjoyed the pool and saunas, but it was just really peaceful and relaxing sitting outside. We had dinner - the service was friendly and it was a wonderful setting. The breakfast was excellent - there was plenty of choice of cheeses and I really enjoyed the pastries.
The water supply in the bathroom was slightly erratic - just before we checked out there appeared to be very little pressure in the taps.
Rooms are comfortable and very spacious. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and omelettes to order. Spa facilities were lovely, very quite and relaxing. Surrounding area is lovely and we enjoyed a few walks. We had lunch/dinner in restaurants across the street and these were both very good.
Tea/coffee facilities in room. This is more European norm now and would expect this of this style and quality of hotel
Breakfast was very generous, the staff is super friendly, the beds are very comfortable and the shower is to die for. The spa is great, super clean and relaxing, could have stayed there all day. The grounds around the hotel are great for a walk too
The experience with the spa and the surroundings is very nice. The hotel is big and there is free parking around, unless in busy season.Nice are to have a walk.
Overall, coming from Central Europe, the spa is too expensive for what you get. Even in Spain, finder a better quality/price ratio is simple. Still, you want, you pay it, and that is. Don't get me wrong, it is not bad and you will enjoy it fully but, just very overpriced.I got the impression all the money was invested on the 5* side leaving th 4* side with just the basic. Honestly, I never got the impression of being in a 4* hotel.Breakfast can be improved.
It could be totally a different trip if all was well
The room was a horrible place to sleep super hot with air conditioning broken after two day of stay finally changed to a normal room but no refund and not much well apologized
Lovely place, friendly staff, good restaurant and breakfast.
So relaxing. The property was beautiful and the surroundings very serene. We enjoyed a morning walk along the river, great breakfast, relaxing spa. The pool worked for lap swimming, and the gym had everything we needed for a good workout. We would love to return and spend more time in this area.

Dinner options
Hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast has been a highlight with homemade desserts, fresh orange juice and omelettes a-la-carte. Spa facilities are great as well and not very crowded during the week days.
Pillows are on the softer side
Really helpful and friendly staff. Spa facilities very good and would be awesome on a sunny day. Special shout out to the guy working in the spa the evening of Thursday 21st for explaining all of the facilities to us despite not being confident with English.
Water in the jacuzzi areas of the pool could have been a little warmer.
