    Pros +

    • There was a large and beautiful park across the street, and it's right in the neighborhood of the downtown buildings. They also have a nice cat. There is a good japanese/ramen place nearby.
    • I recommend this hotel, it is a 5 minute walk from the old town Cathedral etc.A 10 minute walk from train station and bus station,Facing Parque de San Francisco. And close to the centre of Ovideo. The staff were very friendly, and answered my questions. So it's a 10/10.From me , no complaints.
    • The location close city centre, next park.

    Cons -

    • The carpet up the stairs was dingy and the stairwell just was depressing, like there wasn't care put into it. It felt old and yukky compared to the other places we have been staying... all budget hotels and hostels. The reception area had cluttered tables with random things, like Christmas things even though it is July. It was ok, but not a place you walk in and feel like people care about it. The hall to our room was narrow and devoid of decoration so you felt like you were going down a tunnel. For the price, I expected a lot more. The real problem we had was that our room looked into a dirty and decrepit space that was between the entry stairway and other rooms, apparently open above, so the view was of dirty walls and other people's windows and the stairwell. There was no curtain and lights shone in all night so we put our sweaters over our eyes to sleep and undressed and changed in the bathroom. There were also mosquitos and we both got bit up through the night, and a pigeon in the bathroom window woke us up at dawn. In all fairness, when I talked to the man at reception about there being no curtains in the morning, he said there was a blind, and indeed there was a barely visible cord on the side of the window, that, had I seen it, would have lowered a blind down outside the window. Regardless, I didn't see it and we weren't comfortable in the room. I was booked for three nights and he was unwilling to reimburse me for two nights or even make some kind of deal because we were leaving. It was a total waste of money... that was one of the most expensive hotels of our trip and it was by far the worst. He said that because it was through Booking there was no negotiating, I had to pay for all three nights. We bit it financially because we were so glad to get out of there and back to our happy, healthy, and beautiful Spain experience. It cost me over $200 but leaving was worth it. We were eager to leave Oviedo after that experience.
    • Welcome non existent, a moronic hooligan on desk shouting into phone, no customer care.Room inner horrible courtyard view pigeons
    • Meet the expectation

Owner very kind, he kept our luggage after checkout on Sunday even when they do not work that day.

    Meet the expectation

    Very centrally located.

We hardly slept, we were given rooms near reception and they were extremely loud, watching television until late a night with a group of people. People went in and out of the hotel at all hours, talking very loudly. You can hear every movement of the rooms next to and above you. Also, our bedding had no duvet covers, and the room smelt of smoke.

The location is excellent, a short walk to the old town. It's more of a hostel than a hotel, and I waited for a long time for someone to come to check me in; when she arrived, she was very anxious to please, but the whole thing, including discussion with a manager about which room I should have, took an inordinately long time.

Central location. Great value for money. A ride to the airport at a very reasonable price.

Everything was fine. It wasn't a luxury hotel but it was great value in a great location.

    Very good location, pet friendly

No car park even though it says it has. Was told to park the car in a near by car park which was ok. 10€/ dog

Location is the main/only reason to choose this hotel Right across from the parque and very close to the highlight of Oviedo

We felt like the receptionist didn't expect us and had to select a spare room. We ended up next to the reception. The room was quite dusty, The bathroom/shower had some dirt in the bowls. Towels had stains and loose threads. On top of this it was very noisy and we could clearly hear conversations at the reception. Also doors slamming, walking on higher floors and some adult 'entertainment' were loud and clear...

The location was excellent. It was clean.

The property was dated, a bit still in the 1970/80s. Very little facilities.

The chap managing it was so helpful, even searched for an adaptor for us (which helped so much) and brought it to our room. The room was clean, bed was huge, they had a cot for baby and excellent location.

Nothing, we had a lovely stay and slept very well

great location, stuff helped us with parking and serve us beverages.

no A/C, which is not unusual for this part of the Spain. have to open windows to air well, so neighbor noise!!

Location fantastic and being right on the park made it super easy to orient our way home

No mood lighting in roomSynthetic sheets

Amazing position opposite the most beautiful park. Close to the old city; parking round the corner and great value

    5TedPosted on: 10-12-2023

Hotel has an excellent location on the edge of the old city and overlooking the San Francisco Park. The building is full of character but in need of refurbishment.

The window of our room looked into a light well in the middle of the building. We didn't spend much time in the room so it didn't really matter but if you were there for longer you might want to avoid this room. The hotel seemed to be desperately short of staff and the cleaner was still working in our room when we arrived in mid afternoon. Next day when we left the same lady was covering reception.

Spacious room, very clean and well kept. Location is fantastic! And also, got great recommendations of places to visit around.

    3ShaHROKHPosted on: 10-2-2023

Nothing , old outdated and not clean

We refused to stay and left the property this is how bad it was. The 8.3 rating on the site is farce and not true.

    10JoaquinaPosted on: 9-10-2023

Very well located in the downtown everything in a few minutes Fl, stores, restaurants and safety areas.

    8NeilPosted on: 7-24-2023

I stayed twice at this hotel. The location is really great, it's right on Oviedo's central park and very close to the shopping streets. The rooms are comfortable, though both my rooms faced an internal space, so there's no scenery out the window. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The price is good, and again, you can't beat the location.

Overlooking the park. Big room. Good location and windows as on a main road

For me the bed was too hard.
