Exceptional Hotel!Great downtown location a block from the central park and adjacent to the Casco Viejo. Great restaurants and shopping are nearby; everything is within walking distance! There is a taxi stop across the street from the entrance. The train and bus terminals are about ten minutes away. The hotel is small enough, so you get personal attention from the staff.The breakfast is excellent.

Clear glass bathroom design lacking in privacy .

It is in a good location of the city with a city parking structure very close by (the hotel gave us a parking discount card). We only stayed one night and the room cost was 40% less than the nearby "chain/brand" hotel. The price alone made this choice worthwhile. The bathroom layout was unusual but the room was large and also had a separated seating area which could provide privacy if you need to work while you partner is sleeping. Breakfast was good and worth the value. We walked a short distance to the restaurant areas for dinner. We had a balcony to view the city.

This was not our first night in the Campoamor. Well appointed, spotlessly clean, very friendly staff and centrally located. Recommend!

Breakfast was disappointing, although there was a wide choice the quality was less good. Shower room showed signs of previous leaks and could be improved.

The Campoamor is an elegant hotel right on the edge of the historic centre of Oviedo. The room was a good size with very comfortable beds and a nice view. The staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was excellent, with a good choice of fruit, cereals, pastries, cold meats etc. We were on the 5th floor so were very glad of the speedy lift.

The adjoining wall of the bathroom was (partially frosted) glass. I'm not sure that many partners/travelling companions want to be visible in the shower. Also, if you went to the bathroom in the night, putting the light on in there illuminated the whole bedroom!

Would have liked a map to the parking lot. There were a lot to choose from. The one by the fountain is closest to the hotel. But it was still a good value of €14.

Hotel Campoamor is very well located in Oviedo for sightseeing in the old town. Most sites are within easy walking distance. And there are many good restaurants in the vicinity. Garage parking is close by, although parking a larger car is more difficult as the spaces are tight. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a particularly large bathroom. Breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Finally, we felt the hotel was good value.

Although our bathroom was large, well lit, and with a good shower, it could have been better with small improvements. There was a bidet (unusual), but no bidet towels. There was no toilet brush. And we had 2 sinks, but their design meant it was impossible not to get water on the floor all the time.

Excellent location in centre of Oviedo, close to all main attractions.
