    • Location, easy access , staff was great
    • Beautiful historic property. Convenient shuttle to train station for exploring Rome.

    Cons -

    • Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Hair dryer was abysmal and there are no irons in the room- there is one for use in a common area. not super helpful when most people staying that day for a destination wedding. Breakfast was plentiful but not tasty
    • Bed was uncomfortable and the walls were thin.We were in one of the side buildings and it is in a dire need of updating
    • Blind driveway entrance which is dangerous. No restaurant choices nearby.

Beautiful villa… staff all very caring and attentive. Amazing architecture and incredible frescoes on the walls and ceilings… felt like walking in a museum, with huge rooms comfortably furnished. The silence was fantastic for a great night’s sleep, and the bed was extremely comfortable. All was scrupulously clean

The restaurant - we only had pasta and a sorbetto, but neither was as good as we are used to (living in Italy and used to higher quality more tasty meals).

Having visited Villa Grazioli several years ago, I knew what to expect, but the main building - a national monument, incidentally - can still take the breath away inside and out. We spent the first part of our break without a car but even when we hired one for the second week, we still regularly used the hotel's excellent shuttle service down into Frascati. The pool area is lovely and offers a bar, with the option to catch some shade under the trees if things get too hot, which they occasionally did. There is an excellent restaurant on site - booking recommended - and dozens of options in Frascati.

While the restaurant, outdoors with a fabulous view towards Rome in the summer, is very good value and has an excellent wine list, for the time of year (August), we found the menu options a little on the 'heavy' side. A few more fish options would have been appreciated. The breakfast offering was varied on the cold items but a little limited on hot food. I am also surprised there is no in-house bar. There was some kind of anniversary being hosted one evening and given the location, stunning views and nature of he building, I would have thought a bar could be a real attraction for guests and visitors alike.Frascati Railway station was being redeveloped during our stay and the shuttle bus timings no longer coincided with the replacement bus service provided by Trenitalia. A little more information and amended timings would have been appreciated. However, these are minor quibbles and we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful grounds with nice venue set up for a wedding especially with unexpected rain. Really lever beautiful setup

Ironing board in the next building. Rather inconvenient but doable. They were helpful

A large villa with beautiful views down the valley from the main house. The villa is grand, but quite worn, but pleasant nonetheless.Breakfast does not have a large selection, but everything is there, including omelette and ham and cheese. There was also a complimentary bottle of water in the room.Considering the size of the hotel, there are not many parking spaces, but it seems that, in general, everything should fit in the territory.Having an outdoor pool is a big plus in summer. There is also a bar by the pool.In addition to the main house, rooms are offered in two outbuildings. We discovered by chance that all the buildings are interconnected by underground corridors. In bad weather, it is very convenient to go to the main building from the outbuildings for breakfast or dinner. We chose a room in the adjacent building, because according to the previous information, all the rooms in the main building were 16 m2 (including luxury numbers and that is too little). An Executive room with a size of 20 m2 was offered in the adjacent building. While walking in the main building, we saw a couple of rooms that had just been cleaned and it was obvious that they were significantly larger than our 20 m2 room. If I had the correct information, I would have preferred these rooms because the room was nicer and the main house has better views.

The pool area is quite poorly maintained. With better cleaning and a little renovation, the appearance could be greatly improved. The pool itself is quite small (too small for swimming). During peak hours, there may be a shortage of sunbeds by the pool. The room looked much better on the pictures (Executive double) than the one we got (room 73).The room was very ascetically furnished and everything was quite worn. The diverter button for the shower mixer was broken and it was difficult to switch to the overhead shower. There was no possibility to make tea and coffee in the room.Check-out at 10:30 at the latest is obviously too early.Although there were some nuances that could have been better, we are definitely ready to come here again.

it is a beautiful property. in between two wonderful towns and 30 minutes from all the sites rome has to offer

Gorgeous! We loved staying here. It was very chilled and everyone who worked there was warm, friendly, and laid back (in a good way!) so we felt we could really relax and find our own pace. No starchiness or corporate vibes. We didn’t have a car but it was no problem we got around with taxis, Uber, and free shuttle bus. A great place and lovely part of Italy to explore.

    A beautiful building overlooking Rome

The room in the annex was very noisy with a bus tour arrival at 0100 hrs. The reception staff failed to let me know the restaurant was closed on the Wednesday and Thursday evening

    7AngelaPosted on: 6-21-2024

The main 16th-century building is absolutely stunning and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. It's not far from the centre of Frascati but on a hill with a lovely view of the town.

Although the breakfast has variety it is served in a windowless 'vault' and the scrambled eggs had no taste. I was also surprised that the room has no mini bar/fridge as the room was close to 200 euros per night.

Allocated a room overlooking Rome in the main building. Not sure that the other (annex) accommodation would be so acceptable. Beautiful main building with a very interesting interior ( frescos etc.,). Lots of character and charm, Quiet location, comfortable good size room. From our experience the hotel does seem to cater particularly for groups - 1 group of French and 1 group of Indian nationality). Would certainly consider staying again, as a base outside the hustle of Rome itself.

No offer of help with luggage and parking a bit "hit and miss".

    10RichardPosted on: 6-9-2024

Everything was prefect - staff very helpful, beautiful views over Rome, dinner and breakfast both were excellent.

    10AndrewPosted on: 6-2-2024

Beautiful building and setting - felt like walking into a film set. Wonderful staff, and set in a beautiful green park with view over Rome, and in the far distance, the Mediterranean. Frascati and the hills are a good place for a base with Rome not too far away.

    10AngelaPosted on: 10-26-2023

We had a wonderful stay, it was near a lovely village called Frascati and we need to come and stay again so we can visit there. The room was lovely and we were given an upgrade. Breakfast was perfect and the restaurant was beautiful as was the building. The staff at the hotel could not do enough for you and the handy shuttle bus from the train station was welcomed.

If I really had to pick something it would be to have a bath in the room, but that is me being picky.
