Hotel am Wald

Great hotel for business trips, there is a really good restaurant, nice breakfast, comfortable and clean. The parking is also very convenient.

The Wifi could be better.

Very friendly staff, great breakfast, good value for money for an overnight stay not too far from Cologne. Parking is free and available. Good restaurant attached to the hotel so you can also have a lunch and dinner there.

Excellent hotel,nice room,wide,clean,cozy beds,nice breakfast and delicious,you can hear birds chirping from the forest and clean air. Very pleasant,excellent staff

No wifi

Wifi didn't work at all. They said this is because wifi is not a part of the apartment, so we don't pay for it. This is ridiculous, make sure you avoid this hotel if you require wifi.

The hotel room was simple and quiet. The food in the restaurant was plentiful. The service very freindly.

It was clean.

Undergoing exterior repairs at the moment, which is good long term. Would have been nice to be notified of same in advance. Breakfast was okay and appreciated but not as varied as we have seen; many tables were left with dirty dishes on them and not cleared the entire time we ate breakfast.

Ground floor for dogs

The room was dirty, toilet and sink and hair on the floor in bathroom. Walls and light switches grubby. Curtains hanging down. Borrowed the iron from reception and it was dirty and as I didn’t check it before hand it ruined my shirt. Expected more for over £100 a night - would never stay here again

Free breakfast had a variety of items and was better than average in quality.

The tv did not have a good selection of programming. The lack of European soccer championship games was noteworthy during my stay.

We came by car & ferry hotel location very good for motorway exit/access short distance for train station at Langenfeld short walk to Monheim am Rheim only downside was Scotlands results at Euros hardly a hotel issue though very enjoyable stay

The hotel could maybe have had Euro screen set up for those who wanted to watch games but the football was main reason for the trip.

Easy Access, to train station ,staff so helpful beautiful grounds and food excellent.

Property was within close walking distance to all supermarkets and not too far away from town centre. Definitely visit Bloomgold restaurant where I had The best goose burger ever! Delicious. Rich breakfast with fresh fruits. The room was heated quickly after adjusting the radiator to higher number. Plenty of parking spaces.
