Gasthaus zur Linde

I liked everything about this place except for the mattresses. If you like a very very VERY firm mattress, you'll love it here. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, the facilities were nice and clean. Breakfast was really good. We also had dinner in the restaurant and everything was very delicious.

Extremely firm/hard mattresses. This is a personal preference and not a bad mark for the hotel, just something I can't sleep on. My husband and I, (40's and 50's) both only slept about 3 hours because the bed was just way too hard for us. The kids, in their late 20's and much lighter than us, both thought the mattresses were comfortable. I just want to mention it because if I had known the mattresses would be super firm, I would not have tried this hotel.

We loved the space of the room, the attached private bathroom, the cleanliness of the room, and the restaurant! Staff was so kind to us American visitors. And the guesthouse is located in the beautiful countryside!

No elevator available for 2nd or third floors.

Quiet location. Only 30 min to the airport.

Wi-fi was very poor. Room was hot.

Good location on last night of our trip before flying home from Munich Airport. Owners were helpful with printing boarding passes for us. Yummy breakfast!

Cleanliness

Cold staff, closed restaurant, it seemed we were bothering the staff.

Very beautiful and quiet area. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. The rooms are always kept clean. If you need something just ask the owners. There is also a well maintained terrace so you can relax with a good beer.

Parking by the entrance, pleasant ambience, friendly staff + no problem with english lang. Clear rooms, great restaurant menu.

Lovely hotel for an overnight stop on a road trip through Europe. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There was a restaurant on site with good food and a beer garden. The location was great for exploring the area and very close to some beautiful and well preserved towns.

Sometimes lot of aircrafts overflying (Munich airport is near).

Breakfast was perfect. Location of hotel is perfect. We have been traveling to participate in exhibition IFAT so to reach Munich messe was very easy. Restaurant perfect, food was very good. Staff was very polite and we got everything what we wanted silence good bed, good food and perfect place.

For our team everything was perfect.
