    • Location
    • It's one of the nicest places to stay for sure, but some of it screams for renovation, like a sauna and swimming pool, the zone there does not really stay at the same level as a restaurant or main entrance hall. Some days during my stay I was all alone as a guest, other days a few people only, so I was on a special meal breakfast, which sometimes was too much and some of the times just not that I needed. Anyway, the best of all of it was the honey, it's totally on another level. It's a very comfortable place to stay, if you are riding tetnuldi hard, because you don't have to think about booking a sauna or finding a place for dinner, it's all here in one building.Mattresses, pillows and blankets are very good, very comfortable sleep. My room had a lot of places to leave my stuff around, just not a table for a notebook and a chair to work with. The staff was very nice, they even washed my clothes for free(and within two hours it was dry and clean!), and they were always very friendly and helpful, thanks a lot, guys and gals, you were the best part of my stay!

    Cons -

    • Level of noise, old facilities , horrible breakfast …
    • breakfast was very bad
    • Rather cold in the room, too little place for drying clothes.

Very spacious and modern hotel in the centre of Mestia. The swimming pool was perfect for the kids after a day of skiing. The staff is very kind and helpful, they even arranged for a new tire for our car when we had a puncture! Thank you very much?

The location of Hotel Posta cannot be faulted - right downtown and across the road from Seti Square. The room was spacious and comfortable, the on-site pool and sauna were lovely (although we had to ask for the latter to be turned on), the staff we met were lovely, and the vibe was nice.

I understand we visited during the low season, but the hotel was a ghost town. The front desk was often unmanned, as the staff on duty were pulling double duty elsewhere. The on-site restaurant is just okay, with breakfast being below average for the quality of the hotel and the dinner/lunch offerings being standard Georgian hotel fare. The toilet paper dispenser in the bedroom put me in mind of a service station restroom, especially with the stingy one-ply-at-a-time dispensement of scratchy, cheap toilet paper. Toiletries were also of budget hotel standard. Our fridge did not work and smelled bad, and while it was replaced, this is the kind of thing you should catch when you have only 2-3 guests in your hotel. All told, for $200 USD a night, I expect a bit better. I've traveled all over Georgia in the last five years, and this just didn't meet expectations.

    Bad

We recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely unpleasant. We couldn’t believe what happened at the bar – a man who seemed to be the hotel owner, and appeared to be intoxicated, started harassing us solely because we are from Lithuania. His behavior was aggressive, and it even looked like he was ready to start a physical altercation, though someone eventually held him back. This was incredibly disturbing and left us feeling very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, this man began smoking indoors, even though it’s strictly prohibited. The waitstaff saw everything but did nothing to stop him or address his inappropriate behavior. This experience ruined our holiday and left us feeling unsafe. We recommend everyone think twice before choosing this hotel.

Quite new - and interesting design. room is comfortable, friendly staff. Pool and sauna are good.

No gym. Spa is open only at 11 am (then open late which is good). Breakfast could be better. Only cold fried eggs and bred was not fresh. On our departure day breakfast was moved to 9am. We must have hot in between season but still, this is late for breakfast.

The pool was great for kids. The breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choices.

It was on the expensive side.

Good location. Excellent restaurants (Seti)within 5 minutes walk. Nice staff. Sauna. Nice views from terrace.

    Sauna booking/control a bit "chaotic"

Iconic view from room with nice balcony, Swimming pool was functional well, hotel lobby is cozy and staff welcoming also helpful, attached restaurant food was good , don't miss the live music .

AC in room was too hot and noisy, bed sheet rough and not perfectly comfortable , shower temperature unstable, breakfast was boring , little over priced .

The nicest hotel we have stayed in Svaneti region. Super clean, big rooms, comfortable mattresses and a great breakfast provided. Check in and check out was easy with the reception being very pleasant. The beautiful pool was amazing. We definitely be back!

    7CathyPosted on: 8-19-2023

Breakfast was good, pool is great. Room was comfortable and bed was very comfortable.

The hotel is nice, however for the price there was a few things that were disappointing, the music was so loud from the bar we could hear it clearly in our room. I specifically booked the hotel as it had a sauna that we could use after a hard few days doing the Mestia to Ushguli trek, and when we arrived I asked what time it was open to which I was informed 11pm, however we went down at 8pm and both saunas were turned off, we asked for them to be turned on but waited 40 minutes and they were not even half way up to temperature, so we did not get to use it. The breakfast was good, however for the price I would’ve expected good coffee to be included (not the instant sachets). Overall it’s a nice hotel, but overpriced for what it is.

As a hotel this place is centrally located

Zero sound proof. You can hear moving chairs, bar and loud music as if this plays inside your bedroom. Very late special event party didn’t let us sleep until 3 am which meant next day was completely ruined. Zero respect to visitors for some mayor hosting above our heads.

There is a sauna and a swimming pool right in the hotel. The breakfast was gorgeous! I saw some Svaneti towers from the window and bought a Svaneti salt.

The breakfast was too gorgeous, we could not eat everything that was served to us, and I was upset about such a waste of food.
