- Great location, really comfortable and relaxing hotel, great food and service.
Cons -
- Bit expensive.
- No complaints about hotel or staff just prices were high for the food and drink in the bar
- It would have been nice to eat in the actual restaurant where we have the breakfast and have the sea view instead of having to sit and eat in the bar area only with no views.
Superb hotel with friendly efficient staff. Fantastic location with spectacular views.
Brilliant location and facilities and food.
Bit expensive.
Great location, really comfortable and relaxing hotel, great food and service.
Every so often we stay at a hotel that's difficult to leave and this is one of them. The hotel and our ocean-view room was tastefully appointed, clean and comfortable. The hotel's management and staff were very friendly and helpful. And we enjoyed the delicious, cooked to order breakfasts and dining in the lounge at night. We'll definitely return.
Breakfast average, nice and relaxed atmosphere, staff very friendly and helpful looking complaints
No complaints about hotel or staff just prices were high for the food and drink in the bar
I was very pleased with the Hotel room with views of the Atlantic ocean and the food including the breakfast, staff & location was very nice for my short stay there for work!
It would have been nice to eat in the actual restaurant where we have the breakfast and have the sea view instead of having to sit and eat in the bar area only with no views.
Staff very welcoming. Lovely ambience for dinner in Adrift restaurant. Hotel decor was elegantly understated.
Having to leave!
Stayed in Dunmore House Hotel recently with our puppy Ginny . Lovely ground floor room with little terrace off it . Very relaxed atmosphere with friendly, welcoming staff , the food was great also. The location of the hotel is stunning with lots of lovely beaches nearby . We will definitely be back !!
I am a return guest at this wonderful hotel. So many personal and caring touches. Stunning location, lovely rooms and fabulous breakfast.
Lovely location overlooking the Atlantic. Very welcoming staff and a super comfortable room.
Nothing really.
Beautiful decor and artworks, spotlessly clean, great views, good food, lovely staff, great attention to detail.
No complaints
Lovely location with fabulous views. Great food and lovely friendly staff.
Location was perfect. Staff could not have been more cheerful and helpful. Breakfasts were exceptional. Dinner in the dining room was excellent, made more so by ability to mix and match between bar menu and a la carte menu.
Room was very cold until we found heating had not been turned on prior to our arrival - took a while to find hidden radiator valve! Having sorted that, the room was very comfortable. We were not aware the restaurant would be closed on our second day - as a result we had dinner in the bar. Very cramped, different table/chair/bench heights made it very uncomfortable. We asked if we could take our meal to the lounge (which as empty but advised this was not possible.Water available throughout the hotel but not in the room?
Beautiful hotel, perfect location (astonishing view on the Atlantic), super friendly staff (even got a free upgrade), plenty of parking available.
Unfortunately the dinner at the bar was below mediocre. Even though they really focus on having "Michelin" quality food, what I got at the bar for that price was definitely nowhere near higher quality. Maybe because it was off season, but unfortunately that was my impression.
Everything was perfect. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was exceptional. Breakfast was a highlight! So thrilled we could bring our dog with us. Made our stay even more enjoyable. Lots of walks close by. We'll definitely be back!
That we had to leave. We should have come for longer than 2 nights!
Our breakfast was good with a mixed service experienceStaff offered champagne for New Years which was nice of them and appreciate. The beach is beautiful and in driving distance (there may have been closer access)
Food was underwhelming, particularly for Michelin standard but even without that accreditation, I would have been disappointed.Delayed seating for our booking by at least 30 mins, same with breakfast but no booking is required here and it's a small space so fair enough.Service was inpersonal and rushed, particularly at dinnerBar staff seemed rushed off their feet which again made it feel inpersonal Room was at the back of the hotel and we woke to the sound of glass bottles being thrown into the bin We stayed in another hotel the following night and the difference was drastic, we were met with friendlies and warmth which just wasn't the case here.
In an idyllic location on the beachfront. Family owned and run with a family friendly feel. Complimentary spring water offered. Bathrooms well appointed with Rocca fittings.
Although in a front room, it was small.
Great location. Comfortable Rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent Breakfast.
All Good
I was on a return visit and love going back. The contribution of the staff to the excellent standard of customer service in Dunmore is the benchmark for other hotels. The hotel is beautifully furnished and is so comfortable. We had a room overlooking the sea - comfy bed and excellent shower. The food is locally sourced, of excellent quality and nicely cooked. I really cant say a bad word about this hotel. I look forward to my next visit to Clonakilty and Dunmore House.
Staff, other visitors, location
Need to have nice drinking water in the room, like from a local print or something. 10/10 otherwise
