The Martello Hotel

it was the location we were looking for when we booked. It seemed a little rundown in the area also seemed a little rundown.

Breakfasts a 10/10 each morning, staff are welcoming and friendly, room was spacious and clean couldnt ask for more

Food was good. Entertainment was good. It's right on the seafront lovely for walking along. Park for kid's on the seafront and there's a arcade across the road from it. Beautiful place to stay.

Couldn't fault it .

You know what you're getting here. It's great to be in a very central spot in Bray beside all the nightlife and fun. The bar itself is such good fun and on late through the night. That's exactly what we were after. Food is decent but the atmosphere is what you're here for.

Nothing really! We've been before so had the right expectations

The breakfast, staffs were friendly and they smile. ? We don’t usually get a smile in Ireland. But they are so nice. Parkings were available roadside for a fee, was easy.

No lift. But that did not ruin the experience. The guy receptionist (Machae) was so nice to help me with my luggage.

Very convenient and beautiful view. Way parking and excellent restaurant and bar.

No negative remarks.

I loved the location. We stayed in the apartment, which was perfect size for 4. And the staff was fabulous!

Rooms were good sized - we had the "apartment". Food was delicious, location as wonderful, staff very friendly.

Parking is terrible, but it is that way everywhere

There is no elevator so it would be difficult for visitors who have trouble with stairs, we were on the third floor so it was a hike to get back to our room and move our bags in and out

The location and the restaurant were good and the staff were friendly.

Our room backed onto the railway and we looked out onto train after train going by and was very noisy. The room was old and tired and the floors were uneven. No charm or character, extremely dark and cramped.

We loved that it had a kitchenette. If only we had occasion to use it!We would have loved to stay longer. Breakfast was delicious, and we loved the starlings (though we promise we did not feed them!)The sweet girl at the desk even remembered where we were headed the next day and wished us well when we checked out.

The location is amazing located right on the strand of beach. Restaurant had excellent food and we ate both dinner and breakfast there.

Carpet needs replacement, very hot in unit and fans did not work. Noisy compressor on the roof outside our window ran on and off all night.

that damn music - and prepping me via email a month out from the visit is hardly great timing. What's worse is getting notified of it during check-in. As they asked if we didn't mind the music that will be playing. Well, yes I did mind b/c the bass rattled our bed. And since hearing about this on check-in doesn't give me an option to back out. I'm sure this isn't the first time you heard about this.

The bathroom was fabulous. The food was very good. The live music was great! The location is fabulous!

The welcome, the young lady receptionist was extremely helpful.

Rooms were very very small, and it desperate need of better quality renovations. Albeit the room was clean enough, it definitely could be better. 3 flights of stairs was also not ideal without a lift and luggage. Definitely didn’t warrant the high price charged.

Great rooms , great views, fantastic food and great entertainment
