Albergo San Lorenzo

Location

I was shocked to find dried blood stains on the bedsheet under my pillow the next morning, when I lifted up the pillow to hide my bag before going for breakfast. No sign of any cut around my upper back. Were stains hidden? This affected my rating.

The room

Language barrier. Non of the staff met at the Reception could speak English.

Quiet clean with functioning quiet AC and 2 large windows for gross ventilation. The breakfast was fast and good.

Great room, bed, breakfast.

Room has big space with balcony. Comfortable bed. Bathroom supply shower cap. Great old style lift. Good staff that found our lost glasses and discuss to send to us by messages on booking platform. Need to arrange a courier to go to pick it up. Great location closed by shops and train stations

The toilet drain is a bit old, have funny sounds that making bubbles. Breakfast has no eggs

The hotel was as described, clean and organised.

The breakfast was adequate, but nothing special. The check in times were limited.

An excellent service. They were very kind with us. It was a very nice place, the rooms were very clean. My friend and I are very satisfied with the Albergo San Lorenzo. We recommend it.

There is nothing. Everything was perfect.

Excellent location, comfortable room with good breakfast.Free parking on the street outside the building

It was all ruined by this experience

The staff stole 150 euros from my wallet which was hidden in the room. They sent it and will not do anything about it. Everything was messy when we came back to the room.

Breakfast was very nice.

Room a bit small for two friends. Not a lot of electricity points.

Great reception and wonderful breakfast.

The fridge wasn't working.

Staff Very polite. Easy walking to Center of Grosseto .Very comfortable Bed. Instant hot water .mini split Ac and Heat.

Loved the patio! And the breakfast was very good!

The Wi-Fi was very spotty in my room it was hard to do work.

The boss-lady has a winning personality, answering all questions, and making great suggestions. The hotel is unpretentious, but gets the job done.

Can't fault a hotel which delivers a great product at a great price, and has no pretentions.

staff, cleanliness and location.

The staff was very helpful, very cordial. It was a pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent. The bathrooms were in great condition. One of the best showers we'd had since traveling! The breakfast was perfect.

The Wi-fi was barely perceptible. I definitely chose this accommodation for the availability of wi-fi. I am traveling with my family and working on the side, that proved to be a challenge. Without being able to hotspot from my phone, I would have been in trouble. Had this been more reliable, I probably would have rated 9. I doubt this would be a big deal to people just vacationing.

Quiet location.

Somebody who was before me smoked inside the room. I changed it but the second room had the same problem: if you are a non-smoker you’ll feel it.
