Hotel Granduca SPA & Parking

Exactly what we needed. Easy to check in at any time. free and easy parking. Breakfast included with nice staff and great espresso. Rooms were clean and simple.

Nothing, it was exactly what we needed for that part on our trip. It was flexible and accommodating

The rooms were clean and well equipped with convenient location. The entrance lounge provided ample comfortable seating to relax and people watch. The best thing about the hotel was seeing Alina’s big smile and uplifting attitude each morning for breakfast, she was the most polite and friendly employee we interacted with each day. So don’t skip breakfast!

Our first room was like an oven and the air conditioner wasn’t working, however the staff quickly changed our room.

I didn't find it very clean. The table where I was working (I had booked the room for work, so I was on the computer for a long time) was full of ants!

It was well situated and parking was perfect. A lovely breakfast and the staff were exceptionally helpful.

The is in need of updating. The rooms are small and the heat/cooling did not work. Had to open and close the window to control temperature. The walls were VERY thin and every word from other rooms and bathrooms could be heard. It was almost like there was a gap or vents at the top of the wall that led directly to the other rooms.

Good reception/staff. Safe, free parking. Clean/quiet room, good breakfast and average restaurant.

4-star hotel in 80's style, now a bit dated - bathroom should be improved (old tap and fittings now oxidized/rusty).

The staff was very friendly, the size of the room nice and the location was perfect and very central to the city centre. I highly recommend this place!

Stopped here for an night on the road.The hotel is well located near the main highway when driving from Rome to eastern Toscana.

We arrived quite late (around midnight), knowing there's a 24 hour reception.The clerk wasn't at the desk and we waited for about 20 minutes till someone came.After a long flight and drive, waiting such a long time was very annoying.

Very poor

Bathroom was dirty, about 4.00am on coridor someone was shouting and arguing. No recomended! Four Star hotel, shame!

Very clean and nice spa

Very loud at night, lots of humming and machine noises kept us awake.Dinner was expensive and mediocre. Spa needs to be paid extra.

There was no cooked breakfast for vegetarian

Only 2 options given for half board menu.The menu is not well translated into good English. Escalop in Italy means pork meat where as Scallop is shell meat fish in England. We like fish and eggs but we were given pork meat- Staff has limited english language- But reported and matter was resolved by receptionist staff.Other room renovation- Motor loud noise during day for DIY job- Complained then compromise for free access to spa. Actually we wanted to have rest during day.For a 4 star hotel no tea or coffee with kettle unprovided.Very disapointed where as 3 star hotel provides.

I wouldn't recommend this place. We could totally get over the fact that this place was a communist paradise - built long ago and it was pretty obvious both inside and outside. BUT we had ANTS in our room & bathroom and that is not okay. Also, the light buttons weren't working properly - we were either in complete light or in total darkness. Also, the breakfast was pretty average for a 4 star hotel. For the money spent on this accommodation we expected better.

The Hotel Granduca is a really lovely hotel situated near the centre of the city. It offers free secure car parking which is always a nice bonus. The rooms were really nice and offered everything that we required for a 1 night stay. The beds were spacious and very comfortable ensuring a good nights sleep. The bathroom is modern and well equipped with everything required. We had a meal in the restaurant which was plentiful in portion size and good value for the price we paid. Breakfast was a self serve buffet with everything you could require to keep you going in the morning. The staff that we met were all very friendly, helpful and professional and they helped make the stay very good. If we are ever around this way again we will not hesitate to stay here

the hotel looks kinds of old, i think need a renovation and its kind of expensive compared of what you get, there was no enough charging stations in the room, the light its not good en the room and also the ac its not working 100%, the bad needs a renewal, if the price was the half i will said its perfect

Perfect night. Room and bath were perfect, the bed was great. A good welcome with nice people. Good location for going in the center of Grosseto which is really nice. The breakfast was on top with multiple choice. Thanks !

clean hotel with friendly staff and comfortable room. I stayed during a major cycling event along with many other cyclists at the same time. The hotel accommodated all of us including our bikes and were very welcoming. Not close to the centre of Grossetto, but still close enough to get there if needed.

The lady at breakfast was really nice and polite, the spa was great.

Diner was horrible, the bed was really uncomfortable, the washbasin was really low placed, the fact that we needed to pay taxes again.

inexpensive Spa inside the hotel

when I first arrived A/C wasn’t turned on in the building and I had to ask them to do so.room was too smalltoilet leaked water internally, waking me up and keeping me upold fashion metal key entry for the guests, but housekeeping appeared to have electronic key card access!elevator didn’t have any lights and was pitch black taking up to my floor, but they later put it out of order.too far away from the city centerdidn’t have cooked eggs for breakfast other than hard boiled. Not really a breakfast for gluten, sugar and dairy free dietwalls were thin and was woken up various times by next door or above/lower floor neighborchairs didn’t have rollers so when neighbors slid their chair, made a loud awakening screeching noise!
