Hotel Nuova Grosseto

I like this hotel because it is just outside of the train station on the right The isolation in the rooms is perfect, no noisy. I slept very well. My room was really big and the bathroom too. A very friendly staff. Thank You for everything.

Room was clean and secure. Large room. Good size window. Nice breakfast. Parking was OK. Staff were nice after a slightly bumpy start, which was my fault. Reasonable price. Bed was European firm.

Floral scents in room were unappealing, but tolerable. Some noise from the train station, but not too bad. Hard to see the hotel from the street.

Right next to the train station, but very little train noise. Within walking distance of the city center and restaurants. Very nice, helpful staff. Decent breakfast with real Italian coffee. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Elevator.

The central train station location isn’t the best area in town. Some low-lifes hanging around. Not the hotel’s fault, but it is what it is.

Location could not be better. Steps from train stations near. The room is sufficient.

Some updating is needed, but it met my needs.

Staff (especially Marco) were incredibly helpful with restaurant recommendations. Parking was very convenient and the old town only about 1/2 mile away.

I can't think of anything in particular that I found objectionable.

Good selection for breakfast. Right beside railway station and 10 minutes from centre of Grosseto.

Making reservations for vehicles is important for this location, but I didn't think about it so I had to quickly locate free parking when coming back from dinner.

Perfect to arrive after a long train ride and have a short stop at Grosseto. The Hotel is literally 1 minute away from the train station. The personel in the Hotel was very helpful as well to any of my doubts and needs. The breakfast was simple but still met its value. Simplicity is good too.

-Kindest staff on the planet.-Beds are comfortable and fresh.-Breakfast has anything on offer you could want, with freshly made espresso at the bar.-Safe and peaceful for solo travellers.

AC was weak. A bit noisy in the morning. Needs updating to be a 3 star hotel. I can't believe there is a hotel in this world that still uses an actual key to enter the room.

Excellent location, right next to train and bus station and not too far from the old centre. Good breakfast buffet, with a cheerful lady serving good coffee. Very good price /quality relation.

I couldn’t change the room temperature with the AC. The "free" Wi-Fi requires registration with email. No thanks, I don't need more spam. Prepayment of the stay.

This property is very close to train station which makes it super easy to get to if travelling by train. Also staff are Super helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent with many sweet and savoury choices. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Would recommend this property.

The bed was a lot firmer than we are used to but amazingly we still slept comfortably.

Hotel Nuova Grosseto, near the train station in Grosseto.The hotel was easy to find. We reserved parking behind the hotel.Hotel staff were welcoming and very helpful.The room was nicely appointed, but the bed was too firm and not comfortable- even for sitting up in bed.The breakfast buffet was relaxing, abundant and varied. Sweet and savory-including hard boiled eggs, fruit, juice, cereal, and the best coffee! Served in the high ceilinged, streamlined, hotel lobby.

The cappuccinos were delicious and the staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. We weren’t expecting 5 star but it was such good value for the price.

Cardboard paper cups in rooms with stirrers not spoons. Bathroom facilities need updating as shower door rubber was falling apart. Hot water was not always available.

The staff upon arrival and in the breakfast area were very friendly and welcoming.Beds and bathroom above average in my double bedroom , with block out curtains and electric blind to keep light and sound out.This is the first hotel in 14 hotels Ive stayed in within 2 months , that supplied a decent sized luggage stand to fully open my large suitcase. There was still room to move around in the room too. A decent sized shower and good pressure in the shower is always a bonus when you are out all day sightseeing. Fantastic location for all services and an 8 minute walk to town centre and services.I needed to use the laundromat , which was also a 2 minute walk away.You can hire a bike and cycle for hours on safe bike tracks . This city surprised me with so much to see. The main reason I based myself here was 1 hours drive to the Saturnia thermal pools.Breakfast is included and is lovely and offers many options.
