    Pros +

    • The staff was very friendly. They came outside in the rain to show me how to park. The service at breakfast was also amazing. I really appreciate it
    • The location is next to the basilica, so it's perfect if that's the purpose of your visit, which mine was. The bed was more comfortable than I expected and the breakfast was great.
    • The breakfast was very good. It included juice, meats, pastries, eggs, bread. I was able to make a sandwich for lunch later in the day. There was a secure entrance into the hotel (former convent). It was very close to the House of Nazareth and the Basilica in which it is housed.

    Cons -

    • The shower a little tight and some noise at night but as I said that is nothing compering to the rest
    • It could get a bit noisy at night because is right besides a main road. I sleep a bit early, that's why that was a bit uncomfortable, but anyone who sleeps a bit late won't have this problem.
    • Know that you travel by car you have to park it in a paid parcheggio area nearby

The property was just behind the Sanctuario which was the biggest plus. Breakfast was very good and Sister was very nice and helpful. You can’t beat getting a blessing from her when you leave for your travels. I hope to come back for a longer stay.

The staff, breakfast, a beautiful chapel, just behind the Santa Casa (church). The street was a little bit busy at night but I can live with that. The price right I would come back.

Quiet — sometimes a scarce commodity in Italy. Warm, welcoming, and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel Madonna di Loreto has a strict check-in time of 9:00 pm, with no option for contactless check-in, and so we rushed to make sure that we would arrive sometime between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. As we approached the hotel, we discovered that the hotel was located inside a ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone), so we could not drive our rental car all the way to the hotel. That was really frustrating, and I would like to have known that before reserving the hotel! We then ended up having to pull our car over to the side of the road outside the ZTL so that we could hike up the hill to the hotel (hauling all of our bags with us up the hill). Once we reached the hotel, we rang the bell and were let into the building. We were warmly greeted, and checkin was fairly straightforward. We were given our keys, both for our room and for the outer door. After getting our bags into our room I rushed out to move our car (as I would have eventually gotten a parking ticket where it was), and I drove around until I finally found a public parking lot. (Be sure to download the EasyPark app to your phone to easily manage paying for street and parking lot parking!) I hiked up an even larger and longer hill and, after about a 15 minute walk, finally arrived back at the hotel. I returned to the room to check it out further and found it to be quite outdated. The air condition was the old style air conditioner that typically sits under the window that I haven't seen in years. It was running, but taking quite a while to cool the room. The shower was extremely small, to the point where it was difficult to actually take a shower. In the morning the provided breakfast was quite good, and checkout was also straightforward. The hotel was right nest to the Basilica, so it was a very easy walk to the Basilica. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, but I would stay somewhere else next time, due to the location inside the ZTL, the outdated air conditioning, and the extremely small shower.

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The hotel was right in front of the Basilica and their breakfasts were really good. Would come back again.

It could get a bit noisy at night because is right besides a main road. I sleep a bit early, that's why that was a bit uncomfortable, but anyone who sleeps a bit late won't have this problem.

The hospitality is incredible, and this is a pension/hotel we would absolutely stay in again. We really enjoyed the sisters and their proximity to the Sanctuary. We parked out car nearby in a paid spot. The rooms were clean, and we had space for our little one. The breakfast was nice and everyone was very kind. I think my favorite was their knowledge of the schedule and the basilica of Our Lady of Loreto. If you are a pilgrim, then I suggest you stay at this hotel.

The hotel was next to the basilica. The staff was excellent. Christina was waiting for us and help us to check in and parking. The sisters were very nice.

The convent is a great location and very quiet and peaceful. Great breakfast. Clean rooms. My only complaint is that I imagine because they are a convent , the messages I sent were not answered. We think we left a bag of dirty clothes and tried to contact by both phone and message through booking.com to see how we could get the items returned to us.

Sr Maria Sylvia and Kristina—they were so helpful. The property was beautiful , an old monastery

    We loved were we stayed

    10sergioPosted on: 9-23-2024

This is a really lovely place to stay, Sister Silvia is an incredible host, she is always taking care of their guests making everything very confortable and lovely. Also the property is basically right at the corner of the central plaza, definitely best location in town.

It was a bit cold and we couldn’t turn on the heaters, maybe a couple more blankets in the rooms would have been nice.

It was very good value for money located next to the Basilica. Breakfast spread was good and the staff were also nice.

    Nothing! Everything was great!

... Need to improve with fresh food the breakfast At the room should be for free at least one bottle of water everything else is great

The breakfast has exceeded my expectation, after reading the previous review feedback. The breakfast has a good variety as a standard three stars hotel in Italy. The location is superb, very close to basilica.

I feel personally winter may be a good time to come, it was so hot during summer. The hotel location is helpful and convenient.
