Pros +
- Clean and everything worked. I liked how they had a waiter at breakfast to take your coffee order and he always brought it back very quickly. It was also affordable. The staff were friendly, and many speak some English which is helpful for international travelers. The shower worked well and wasn't cramped which might not sound significant but is actually a pleasant surprise in Italy. If I come back to Loreto, I'll probably explore other options and be more discerning in where I choose to stay, but if I don't find anything that would suit me better, I'd have no problem coming back.
- The bed is super comfortable and the blankets r nice and comfy. The towels r thick and good quality.
- The staff was very friendly and offered wonderful suggestions for local restaurants.
Cons -
- The 4-star designation is too generous. If it was 3 stars, I wouldn't have any complaints. But there were no added services that would earn it a 4th star. They had breakfast, which was fine, but no lunch or dinner during our weekend visit. Granted, it was the offseason, so they might drop the meal service and bring it back during the summer. Not sure. Also, it was poorly lit. I arrived at around 6:30 pm, not late but already dark outside. There were no lights on the property until you got to the front door. The sign at the entrance to the property was peeling off, such that it said "Ho el" instead of "Hotel". If I was in a car, I probably would have not noticed it was there and driven right by it. So the outside was almost completely dark, but also the hallways I had to walk through to get to my room were completely dark and took a few seconds for the motion sensors to catch that I was in there. Is it really too much for the main hallways to stay lit? Also the Wi-Fi was rather slow and unreliable.
- Poor lighting on the outside of building at night.
- The rooms were very hot.

Poor lighting on the outside of building at night.
The staff was very friendly and offered wonderful suggestions for local restaurants.
The rooms were very hot.
Nice, simple, old fasioned, comfortable, clean hotel in Loreto.
The staff was great, our train was delayed and they kept the kitchen opened to feed our large group.
The best place to stay in Loreto, the best city view , the best hotel, great room & bed, great shower
Bath towels must be better & needs more variety of food in the breakfast.
From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt at home. The room was spotless and featured all the amenities I could ask for – including a very comfortable bed and a stunning view. The location was ideal.I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to return!
Very clean and upscale. Breakfast bar is great.
It’s a hike from the Holy House. 15 minute walk - mostly uphill. Not an issue for me but beware to those who are not in shape.
Clean, great view, spacious room, good breakfast, professional & friendly staff.
For an elderly couple, quite a distance to sanctuary & town square over hilly terrain. Add to this, there is only ONE SINGLE taxi in the whole of Loreta! For elderly couple with no car, I would recommend a hotel closer to the shrine…Our most significant issue was NO HEAT in our room in November & 11degC at night!
Most of the food was over by the time we went for breakfast, but we did go within the allocated timeframe. We requested for some fried eggs as it was all over, and we got told rudely that it was all over, and they had no more eggs. This was very disappointing and unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.
Did not like the response from the staff in the dining area.
Very helpful and great ambiance. They waited for us and helped us get a taxi when we had not bought the sim yet.
You need a taxi to get there. It was our first time and we walked 2.2 km to get there. But no complaints
Staff was very kind and accommodating. They provided contact information for a taxi service to provide transportation from and to return to the train station.
view, easy to park, and access
have a balcony
All staff were very friendly, kind and accommodating. It was a pleasure being there. The room was large, beds were comfortable for European standards.
AC could have been colder as we were there during a hot weather period. Breakfast was simple but adequate.
would not recommend the hotel
Upon arrival wifi did not work, was moved to another room. The bathroom smelled terrible. The hotel in general has a strange unpleasant smell. the walls were dirty
The staff was very nice and attentive with us. The breakfast was completed with lot of options. There was a beautiful view of the trees, birds, city and the sanctuary. It was a very silent place and we could heard the birds singing in the trees.
The Wi-Fi didn’t work very well in the 4th floor.
The receptionist is help us retrieve the list item from the train and even called to check on us if we get tge missing item back. The view is incredible from our room. Full length mirror is good. Food for dinner was decent.
Easy to find
Hard mattressPoor food
The view
The WiFi was not working at all apart from the toilet and unfortunately this was a big disadvantage
The location and the view of this property is very helpful to visit Loreto.
You can’t walk to the Cathedral, we had a car and wasn’t an inconvenient but if you don’t have a car you’ll have to walk a long distance to arrive there
