The closeness to my friends and a short walk to the La Rambla

My main complaint was the electrical socket came off the board by the bed, showing bare electrical wires. I reported this and took photos, this happened on the second day of my stay whilst I removed a plug socket, but no one had made an effort to make this area in my room safe.

We wanted a room close to the train station, it was good for that.

The room was filthy. Long black hairs all over the floor and in the bathtub. The walls are so thin you can hear everything that is said from the rooms next door. Our neighbours were talking and coughing until almost 4am.

Staff and location. Staff friendly helpful. Location good for bus/train station, except station being renovated.. 15 minute walk to city centre.

Broken bracket for shower, had to hold it to shower. Metal covering broken from head of shower, rubber tube exposed. Most of sealer around bath split from bath. That experience gave the whole room feel dirty.

Having stayed several times before over the years. The location is excellent, with just a short walk for all requirements, including transport links.

Sadly my overnight stay experience on the Fourth floor, room 407 was dreadful. The passage way had thread bear, holed tatty carpets, and it needed a complete repaint. The room was not much better, in particular the bathroom needed a complete makeover and upgrade, and that's putting it mildly. not fit for use.

the room was one of the cheapest and was located close to the bus station and Jefatura de Trafico (it was my reason to come to Almeria). and it was quite close to the city centre. reception is open till 24:00. they changed my room from 1-person room to 2-person rooms immediately when I asked (extra 10 eur).

the hotel claims it has 2*, but it's actually a very old and unkempt place. the rooms are dirty (there was hair all over the place and pieces of trash from previous visitors. the bed covers were stained, bathroom all covered in mould. we had 2 twin beds put together and they had different mattresses: one with springs coming out, another extremely soft so we both had aching backs after the first night. the walls are very thin and you can hear all the conversations next door. I booked a room that faces inner yard but got one that faces a lively street (sort of a intercity route) and it was very loud all the time so we had to close the windows to be able to sleep. if you're going to Almería for 1 night, I'd recommend this place for the price. otherwise, pay extra 20 eur and stay at another place.

    HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT

Floor was dirty, bed sheets were dirty and we even found a long hair in the sheets. Booked a double bed, but instead we got two single beds cramped in a corner (one vertically and the other horizontally) together forming an L. Room was literally 2m by 3m, certaintly not as advertised, and considering it wasn't cheap for just a one night stay, we were very disappointed and surely won't recommend.

    3NataliePosted on: 8-11-2024

The one receptionist who actually tried to be friendly and helpful.

The room looked nothing like the photo, the bath was dirty, we had a twin room booked but had a double bed and couldn't move, the window went to a service staircase, so couldn't open the curtain. There were no toilets downstairs in reception. The bar wasn't open so you couldn't even order a cold drink. We were served a drink on the first evening to be told the next day we cannot order anything from the bar as it wasn't open and the staff member was in trouble. The buffet breakfast is not worth the €6. There is no parking so you have to pay for this on the street and pray that you can find a space!!!

    Nice staff, near train/bus stations

Thin walls, bars on windows, dark room

    8TrevorPosted on: 7-17-2024

Location to rail and bus station along with taxi rank

It’s shabby and worn. Certain facilities, safe, drink making are not available.
