Hotel Metropole

Wonderful location close to stores and harbor (picturesque!). Parking was no issue for us, we found a free spot 5 min walk away, recommended by the concierge. Room was dark and quiet, just perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Location with room overlooking canal was beautiful. Grado is a lovely old town with cobblestone alleyways & good cafes. Good value hotel.

Parking is not great. We got lucky due to rain. We had hoped we could pay the valet to park, but alas there was none.

Location was great, check-in was friendly and helpful. Easy bike storage. Breakfast was good.

It seemed to be a busy weekend and the only room available was their smallest room. We were okay with the small size and the “French bed” but the room hadn’t been updated — few outlets, weak air-conditioning (which we wanted to use as there were big, noisy fans running outside the window), and the shower drain quickly backed up. We chose this hotel partly based on the high rating, but our room didn’t live up to that rating. Maybe the other rooms are better.

Check in was great. Our room was spacious. Nice enough shower. Great location.

Would be nice to have coffee and drinks available in the room, but this doesn't seem to be an Italian thing. We prefer to have access to TV Cast to wind down at the end of the night. Both preferences, but not essential.

The room with a view of the superb harbor, exceptional breakfast, the lady at the reception and the lady at breakfast extremely kind, we can't wait to come back

Very clean, almost brand new, excellent location. Nice towels and furniture. Firewall door at the entrance of the sleeping room.

No parking unfortunately. But it is a common central location problem.

Amazing breakfast and some gf food, Monica was lovely and would have our drinks ready as soon as we came down. All the staff made it wonderful.

Lack of shade outside in the evening so didn't sit there and have a drink with the lovely view of the harbour

The location of the hotel is very central and our room overlooking the central harbour was lovely. Breakfast was great.

Old traditional hotel, nicely refurbished, room was spacious with a balcony, everything was clean and well maintained.

WIFI was simply not working, neither in the room nor in the lobby. There was only a brief moment during the night, where it worked. The air condition is set not to cool below 25 degrees and was so noisy that we were not able to keep it running during the night.

Lovely small hotel in the center. The staff is very friendly. Perfect breakfast. Absolutely recommendable albeit a bit pricy.

There was a street lamp in front of our window, which made it difficult to dark the room.
