Hotel Hannover

Location

Bathroom shower was very small and the bathroom needs an update

Location staff parking

The shower cubicles

The breakfast was excellent. The bed was comfortable.

The balcony wasn't well looked after. No flowers. Our 25th wedding anniversary was completely ignored

Very good location (with own parking). Nice clean room and pleasant staff.

For the price paid, buffet breakfast could be better. There is a decent selection of products but they are all a bit low quality. Also the breakfast room is a bit anonymous. The outside café is so much nicer.

Calm and elegant environment, friendly and helpful staff, welcome drink, very good breakfast

A coffee machine/kettle would have been nice in the room.

This is a small, family friendly and well-run hotel. We stayed in the Hotel Hannover a few years ago, and were pleasantly surprised that the bathroom showers, door locks and air condition had been updated. The breakfast buffet is still fantastic and features fresh fruits and a wide range of Italian pastries (the reason our ten-year-old insisted on coming back). The location at the harbor and right at the edge of the historic city center is perfect for individual travelers who do not want to end up in faceless anonymous hotel complexes. The roofed car parking space is also really convenient. We love this place.

The facilities of the room was much better than our expactation. The breakfast was excellent.

The parking place was an extra price.

Good location opposite the port and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast excellent. Bed very comfortable. Great air conditioning. Private parking (payable) booked in advance. Staff friendly and helpful.

Bathroom needs updating. Shower very small. Only one English speaking channel on TV (news and current affairs programs only).

Location friendly great rooms

The shower was too small

Great reception team. Bike hire €5 a day to access all the beaches. Good location. Effective A/C.

Beds were too firm for us. Bedroom decor needs updating.

Hotel nicely located, comfortable bed and good breakfast. Possibility of booking parking spot for extra fee (but needs to be done in advance)

Pleasant

extremely small shower. It would be impossible for someone a bit heavy to take a shower.Officially a 4 star hotel, but it doesn't feel or look like one,

Location is very good, excellent staff, very good breakfast. You need book car parking space in advance, otherwise you spend hours to find one in the public area.

No water pressure in the bathroom.

Location, extremely helpful and friendly staff, outstanding breakfast.

Shower cubicle was too small

The hotel is right in the center, next to a canal. Just a few steps from the seaside promenade, restaurants, shops. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, the staff is helpful and kind. We'll be back!

Convenient location. Nice breakfast room.

Very hot bedroom despite keeping curtains and windows closed all day as the A/c wasn’t working.. 27C at night is too hot to sleep - much cooler in corridor outside. Since sleeping is main reason for using a hotel, this was a problem.

location excellent.

breakfast was good however there was one member of staff trying to supply coffees to a large number of guests…. maybe provide pots of coffee in lieu of individual cups.

Perfect location, super nice staff, excelent breakfast! They even let us eat the breakfast a bit later the first day, bacause we were needing to rest a bit more, thank you all! Amazing!

The shower could be bigger, there were no much space to move, and we had a small problem with the AC letting water escape from the system, but about that they resolved the issue right in the next day.

Breakfast and location are both excellent

In terms of interior the room was a bit dull and small considering it was a 4 star hotel

It's location cannot be praised often enoug enough, right in the center. Great deal of variety of foods at breakfast - even 5 minutes before restaurant closes. Everything was given for a good holiday: comfortable beds and sofabed, air conditioning, large and clean bathroom, bike rental for free. Best beach in walking distance.
