Cons -
- I did not know, that I had to pay for the parking extra. It would be good to find out in advance, when booking the room. There was a mosquito, that did not sleep us at night. It would be great to have an effective protection, e.g. on the window. So that we can leave the window open for the night. Even though it was end of October we stayed here, mosquitos were around.
- pay extra for most things like parkring and wellness. wellness wasn t even offered due to no (?) reason.0

Inside facilities and the staff
Excellent location and nice Austrian style architecture, including high ceiling and spacious rooms.
The WIFI is a bit weak, and the connection breaks down quite often.
Beautiful Exterieur and Interieur appearance. The rooms are very well equipped and the housemaids do a fantastic job every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful with planing activities and any other questions. Every morning you get a heartwarming greeting from the restaurant team and the breakfast in the garden will let your holiday dreams come true.
Great location, staff was very helpful, rooms were clean. They offer a variety of services.
Location is great, the property has distinct 18-th century vibes close to my heart. Really enjoyed our stay there. Restaurant is great.
Driving there sort of takes you through pedestrian zones, but parking on site was great.
Very nice hotel taking its job seriously. Quality and well decorated rooms, very good breakfast.
The hotel is advertised as being next to the beach, however, for those who are not familiar with the Italian way, you should know that beaches are completely privatised in the country. That means there is really no beach next door if you don't pay a handsome amount of money (in this case 50 or so Euros) for umbrella and chairs. It seemed the hotel had some lounges reserved for their clients (so as a part of their service) but not for everybody. We were told that they are all 'occupied' which seems strange. This means the hotel gives a service to some clients but not to others. Felt wrong.
Location and history are going for this place. The property is beautiful from the outside, and the history is appreciated. It is in the center, close to some great restaurants, and right on the beach. The sunbeds belonging to the hotel are in great location (at extra fee - make sure you book them ahead because they go fast). Wait staff was nice and the cappuccino was delicious at breakfast. I loved the toiletries in the bathroom. The windows in the rooms have screens!
I told the hotel previously that my mom had a hard time navigating stairs, and she used a cane so the building had to have a lift. They assured me that each building had a lift. What they forgot to mention was that to get to the lift you either have to navigate through a tightly packed parking lot (picture) on gravel, then use 5 stairs (picture) to get to the lift. In addition her room was the furthest from the lift. The other option was to get to the closer entrance but use 3 stairs down, 12 stairs (picture) up to get to the lift. At check in, I asked if it was possible to get her a room in the main building which was much easier/more accessible (stairs but no parking lot /gravel), we were told that they were completely full. Be aware of this, if your mobility is challenged. It can be insanely noisy (especially during weekends). While this is not the hotel's fault, be aware, there can be concerts right next to the hotel on the square (by villa Adria). You may close the window, and they are actually pretty good at sound proofing the room. However, when you close the window, then you have to put up with the heat in the room. While there is AC in the room, you are not able to operate it from your room. You must call the reception to turn it on and off, which I found inconvenient.
Very nice hotel in excellent location. Staff really great.
Our room was not in the main building and WIFI did not work. It was announced in the ad (free wifi) so that was disappointing. If this is something you don’t want to miss ask for a room in the main house. Also, due to last minute booking, no hotel beach chairs available anymore ?
The hotel location is excellent as was breakfast. The staff were were very nice and always helpful. Parking on site is a nice bonus.
You have to book and pay for a place on the beach which is right in front of the hotel, would personally pick a hotel with a pool in future. The rooms were clean but somewhat dated.
Great ambiente, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Will come again
Parking between the houses is good, but wouldn't it be great to use the park not for cars, but for humans instead?
Nice stuff, friendly.
A-C is not possible to control from the bed and its also quite loud.
* breakfast was good* the staff was very kind
* the mattress was way too firm, always got up with pain in my back* the room was very small
Perfectly located hotel, elegant and clean, with a nice and friendly atmosphere. Very competent and helpful staff at the reception!
We loved the location and the history of the place, the friendly staff, the coffees
That breakfast wasnt served outside and that the beach beds despite the sunshine and warm weather were not yet prepared (because traditional season opening only later)
The historical context and the hotel was in general great. The position is amazing. The breakfast was very goodOk
The hair dryer should be better. There should be more hair products in the bathroom
Splendid premises that are well kept and tidy, carefully renovated and perfectly located right at the doorstep to the beach. The breakfast being served right at the heart of the villas' courtyard and open-air is a major plus.
Even though I fully understand that interior design and furnishings are intended to match the buildings' edge of century heritage and a certain portion of elderly guests' expectations, I would recommend an update of these:Modern tiles and appliances in bathroom, basic amenities (coffee maker etc.) and lighter, mediterranean colors for furnishings.
The staff was very kind and friendly. Great breakfast.
Beds not that comfy. Few power sockets and difficult to reach, i had to disconnect the lamp to charge my phone close to bed.
