Hotel Bellavista

The clean, quiet, and decently priced hotel is located 5 minutes on foot from a private beach where, for €20/day, one can get an umbrella and two beach chairs. Another 10 minutes away the beach is free. The water is very shallow for more than 100 m off the beach, great for families with young kids. Just like the quaint town of Grado, the hotel is popular with Italian and East-European tourists. We did not interact an awful lot with the staff, but the little interaction we had was pleasant and we also received very fast replies via email. The breakfast was quite nice, and so was the kitchen stuff. There are bikes one can have at no cost for a few hours or for a fee for the entire day. The room had a large balcony where one could socialize with the local mosquito population.

The walk to the center of the town will take you 40 minutes or so. The bedding was freshly washed but had large yellow stains. The large bathroom was in pretty poor condition, with a leaky shower head, no shower curtain, moldy caulking around the bathtub, and a defective tub drain. This isn't a great room to spend time in but will do fine if you're on an active vacation and just need a place to sleep.

The breakfast was perfect. Fresh and cheery. The food service staff was excellent. The food was great. Relax atmosphere. The terrace was a great location to sit out at night. Elevator was great, the sheets and pillowcases were comfortable and clean.

Beds were very hard

Easy access to the city centre in approx. 20 min. or to the beach promenades in approx. 10 min. on foot. Spacious balcony.It's clean and the staff are very nice.

Breakfast could be more varied, with fruit, vegetables and scrambled eggs (we were there at the end of October, so it might be different in high season).The rooms are quite small, including the bathroom.Views are only of the street.Bicycles for hire are not in very good condition.

The checkin was smoth, both receptionist were really nice. Location is perfect, stores, restaurants are only few minutes walk. The room was clean, the breakfast was good. Very nice place.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast. We got very good tips for restaurant. Nice bar near to the hotel.

Maybe more opportunities for eggs at breakfast but all in all we were happy

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The room was comfortable with air conditioning and with fridge, a lovely bathroom with daily towel changes. Good location to the beach and the supermarket. Free parking area in front of the hotel.

the place has very good location, 3 mins walk from the beach 20mins walk from the old town. It was spotless clean and staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

the mattress on the bed is extra soft it felt like jumping in the air all night long

Accommodation on a family holiday was excellent. We were also accommodated with our dog. The hotel staff was nice and helpful. When we had a problem with the air conditioning, it was fixed the same day. The breakfasts at the hotel were also perfect! I can only recommend. Thank you!

We reserved a room for 4. While when we arrived we have received 2 rooms, an one of them had no windows at all! It was an awful place. They did not say a word about it, they were expecting that we will use and pay for that hole. When we said that this is not what we have reserved, they simply said that there was an overbooking...As we did not give it up, finally we have received the room what we reserved. However, I believe that it was a very unprofessional act.Otherwhise, the hotel was a simple one, the breakfast was ok, the beach was very close.

Barman was great with recommendation of red wine - Schioppettino. The best wine we were ever drinking.

There was a fridge in our room that made noise during the night. The AC was great but directly over beds and a bit too noisy for that.

There was plenty of mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Actually I booked a room with 2 separate beds, as my son sleeps in a very active motion, however we got a room with a Double, the blanket was to thin

When we were first time here we could use bike free. Now bike was free only 1 hour long.
