- dinner staff were friendly but the owners could be a bit grumpy and didn’t make us feel very welcome. we needed to check out at 8am to make our train on time and the lady made this difficult for us, telling us check out was at 10am only but this wasn’t stipulated anywhere. I understand it was likely a family run hotel but the owners could definitely have been more friendly and welcoming. It made us feel like we were being a nuisance by asking for basic things.
