Hotel Garni Ferienhof

Our gps had us driving in circles! Turn at the Sparks grocery store. Hotel was within walking distance of Main Street, restaurants and cable cars. We had a large family rom with 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, sitting room and balcony.

Mayerhofen elegant houses and atmosphere. Hotel traditional tirolian style. Very nice breakfast. Nice rooms

Reception at arrival could be more informative about hotel and mayerhofen. Like spa using, etc

The people are so friendly and helpful.

The duvets were too hot as the rooms were very comfortable temperature but, the duvets are very hot. Need smaller blanket options.

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. Quiet location but within easy walking distance to the Main Street in Mayrhofen. Clean, spacious room, with a large shower. Excellent breakfast buffet. Finally, the owner was very friendly, informative and accommodating.

Very friendly hotel with great location and very good breakfast. Do not follow google maps to get there cause you will get lost;)

No kettle in the room and no refrigerator. I missed drinking tea/coffee on the balcony whenever I wanted.

Bar closes at 10 p.m., sauna doesn't have a cold pool.

Amazing stay over the Christmas period. This is a family run hotel and the staff make you feel like one of the family. Lovely tradition feel. Spotlessly clean.

The hotel staff were so welcoming and friendly. Its a family run business and it made us feel at home. I really liked the rooms, as they were recently refurbished.

Home made juices and fabulous fresh jams in breakfast.The personal touch to the details were commendable. The location is perfect if you want to use public transports.Thanks Thomas for a memorable stay.

The staff were so kind. The location was excellent. It was a 10 minute walk to town and there are many things to do in the area.

Beds are firm. We brought a fan for better air circulation in the summer evenings.

Not so close to the main street

It was fairly close to the Penkenbahn lift, lots of space to store your skiing equipment, rooms were clean and cozy, lovely view from the balcony, the bathroom was incredibly spacious, the sauna was relaxing and the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Breakfast in the hotel was very good with a great selection. Evening meal in partner hotel (Edenlehen) is truly excellent.

Nothing to dislike

Found a Gem here.. from entering the main reception the check in process was smooth. Walked into our room and that amazing clean smell just sold it for me. 3 single beds 3 bedside tables, television, balcony, great size shower room. Breakfast was very generous normal European hams cheese eggs and then everyday a different meat. Great size cups for tea/ coffee /chocolate. Great choice for allOn return everyday from slopes beds were made for us and fresh towels( which was amazing and u expected everyday even after leaving them on the towel rail) Small things like this go along way for me. There is WiFi and TV didn’t watch much television but obviously no English channels which was fine for us. Thomas and the team were more than happy to put the football on in the bar for hubby and drinks are placed on tab for you to pay before you depart. We were setting off early so the team kindly made us bag meals for us to take with us. Roll, Apple and a flapjack style biscuit it was very welcoming. There is a spa here which I didn’t realise when booking so didn’t take any bathers with me but I stuck my head in and it looks very glam. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

There was no kettle in the room but I always take my travel kettle and I got some mugs from breakfast. I had my own tea and sugar. Not sure if I was allowed to use this but the family didn’t tell me otherwise. (I always keep my area clean) Other than that I loved this Gem.

Clean, cozy and close to the centre of Mayrhofen and to the lifts. Just 5-10min walk.

Very friendly staff. They had carpet in the style of floorboards. Id never seen that before!

I would have preferred twin beds rather than double

this is a very comfortable and friendly hotel in an excellent location, so you can easily walk to the ski lifts and the town. Thomas and the team looked after us very well.

Lovely family tan hotel, really close to the ski lift (4 minute walk), rooms were cleaned daily with fresh bedding, breakfast definitely exceeded expectations, was expecting serial and light bites but got a wide variety of salmon, bacon, eggs, sausages! Overall great stay and great value for money!
