Pros +
- Location, staff, food, the pool, everything is great. Very kids friendly. Staff was helpful. Next to hotel there is directly hiking possibilities. Big parking areas also for free. Great view too.
- The food was excellent, it was a gourmet vacation for us! The cleanliness of the hotel, the sweetness of the staff(except one person), the calmness of the environment, everything was perfect, we will definitely come again. Note: At the beginning of April, the pistes were closed in St. Johann, but the season continued in Kitzbühel, which was 15 minutes away by car, so we went there for skiing.
- Ski school, ski rental, ski shop, cafe/bar are located at the same spot attached to the hotel next to one of the main cable cars of St. Johann. New learners skiing area is located in front of the hotel. Hotel has a nice pool and a kids club for the hours after skiing to engage kids with other activities. Open buffet offers various options for kids at all meals.
Cons -
- If being really picky, In the older side of the building, the floor in the room was carpet.
- On the first evening, we went to dinner just 5 minutes early and one of the staff at the food reception talked nonsense and made an annoying disciplinary speech like “I'll take you in this time", okay teacher!
- Pillows were unforcomtable

Clean and convient hotel, skischool is beyond expectation
Pillows were unforcomtable
nice room, good food, friendly atmosphere
Ice and snow management outside the hotel entrance was poor
Ski school and teachers
They do not play any music at rock bar and it closes very early..I wasnt happy with house keeping
Nice rooms and spa
May be just me, but I’m fairly certain they hate Americans (somewhat hard to blame them these days). They tried to leave us twice on the shuttle to the train station (even though we were waiting the longest for it, and they knew that), and the front desk was oddly rude and dismissive. Not at all friendly, and I’m an overly-apologetic traveler that starts most conversations with an acknowledgment about my limited German. OK to good hotel with a difficult staff. Probably great if you’re not from the USA.
The facility was very good, as well as food. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and it was really worth it.
The staff at the reception is very slow and not very helpful. The staff at the restaurant is friendly though
we loved the location, accessibility around the resort, food is great, the value is phenomenal!!! Service of the front desk personnel was excellent and many others worked hard too.
Room cleaning service; the room was not thoroughly cleaned, strange protocol to fold blankets, etc. Not enough staff to deliver extra pillows, and complete other requests on time. Not all staff speaks English.
Fresh and high quality of ingredients and choices. Plenty of options for the whole family. We were allocated a table dedicated to us for the whole period which was really nice. Our main waitress was wonderful, friendly and warm, as was Katrina on the reception desk.
Unfortunately one of the waiters was quite rude and abrupt which did affect our enjoyment when he was working at meal times. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
The buffet breakfast and dinner was a great addition to making the stay comfortable. Some more dairy free dessert options for dinner would have been nice, but each time I asked staff for this, they were able to provide me something! The wellness/sauna area was wonderful and very clean, a lovely space to relax after a day of activity.
It's unfortunate the rooms don't have individual temperature controls. The heating is wonderful, but not being able to control the temperature became a bit of a problem - we alleviated this with opening the window - but at negative temperatures outside, it was a constant battle to reach a good temp inside the room.
Great location, 2 min walk to the ski lift. Spacious and spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed. Great view.Excellent food! Great spa with a variety of saunas.Nice staff. Ski rental and ski school in the same building.Rooms were warm, but you could turn the heating off and open a window to adjust the temperature.Overall we loved the stay and would like to come back next year.
The gym was great, but it was very hot in there which made exercise quite a challenge. Some places around the hotel you can smell the septic tank. We didn't stay around any of these so we didn't mind. I imagine this could be worse in the summer.
Wonderful location and hotel! Everything on your fingertips (sport equipment rental, ski schule, ski center, spa, bar). The staff was very friendly, helpful and ready to assist with anything.
The room wasn't cleaned during our stay, even though we followed the instructions and the hairdryer after using it for 2 min was overheating and stopped working, then you had to wait for a couple of minutes until you can use it again. Other than that it was a wonderful experience!
Clean and nice rooms with balcony.
A bit difficult to reach floor 2
Location, sauna, design
that's my third time in the hotel, everything is perfect, like always, except the cuisine... It became much poorer than before
Generally - a nice hotel, with good staff and good breakfast and dinner.
The old section of the hotel (Tirol House) suffers from terrible odor of sewage. The rooms are aged. Bathroom is renovated, but the switches of the lights are old fashion.
I visited the hotel with my husband, mother and 2 months old son. We booked the family apartment which was huge and comfortable. We have been provided with comphy baby cot. The apartment was very clean. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed the SPA zone (finish and infrared saunas, steam bath) and pool.
There was not possibility to book a massage during the weekend.
The hotel, the rooms and the wellness area were very clean. The staff was always friendly and nice. The food in the restaurant was always very good and fresh - In the morning as well as in the evening
We were very disappointed to hear that the playground was closed until summer. We had chosen the hotel specially for the playground and the playroom . It was also disappointing that the playroom did not open until 1300 we had a little boy with us ( 8 months) who - as most children do - wakes up very early in the morning and then he wants to play.Me myself was bothered by the noise that took place right outside my window every !!! single noon while I was trying to take a nap.
Superb location. Incredible staff. Wonderful spa and saunas. Excellent food.
Screaming children running up and down corridors and knocking on the room door when sleeping. Bar area far too small for the size of the property. Suggest a child free floor or wing in the hotel.
Our second stay here as we enjoyed it the first time. It has a great location for an easy family ski holiday, we love the rooms, the food, the pool and the relaxing vibe.
Rooms can be a bit warm but you just have to leave the window open a touch
