Right in the middle of town, and the breakfast. Also, our server was awesome.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Staff is a little impatient when I ask her to change a new bed sheet because the bed sheet is falling on the floor.

Location was great. The breakfast was nice. Parking was easy and plentiful. The room had a fan which was fabulous for me.

The bed mattress sank in the middle of each mattress. Hard time staying asleep. There was a smell from the kitchen renovations that was nauseous and gave us a headache.

The best place to stay in Oberammergau!! Hotel is awesome, rooms are perfect!! We stayed three nights and wish it had been longer!! Restaurant is exceptional and breakfast buffet is world class!!

Window in room could not be opened due to foul smell from kitchen staff pouring kitchen waste down the storm drain at the rear of the building! This may be the only option, but it should be followed with plenty of water so it doesn't stink!!

Some rooms have an elevated shower which is small and without grab bars and a mat which can be dangerous for older or persons with balance problems.If you are elderly, ask about the shower you will be receiving in the available room. (Water pressure is great)

Weather, rain and fog. Nothing the hotel could do anything about!

Very nice hotel. Clean, and comfortable room. Amazing breakfast with lots of options. Location in the middle of the city. Restaurant with good food and beautiful views.

The restaurant was awesome, best meal of our whole trip, and the breakfast was really good, a lot of variety.

The bathroom didn't have a door, and the area where the commode was had a glass door, but not all the way up (floor to ceiling). The was a sewage smell coming from the drain where the commode was (it was also the shower area), and since I couldn't close the door to the bathroom, the room sort of smelled like raw sewage. I was glad I was only there for one night. Otherwise the room was nice (but for the smell). I let the front desk know, they were apologetic, they said the rain sometimes does a number on the town's plumbing.

Fantastic location, excellent breakfast and friendly staff

This hotel is in the center of Altstadt Oberammergau, a charming village in Southern Bavaria. The building is beautifully painted on the front as are many of the buildings in the town. The view from our room (in front) was awesome. It was interesting to look out and see tourists taking photos of our hotel with us in the window! While the hotel itself is old, it has modern amenities. It offers free parking for guests. The young lady who checked us in was super friendly and shared her local knowledge with us. The breakfasts were wonderful.

Our mattresses were worn out and we could feel the springs in one. We ended up sleeping across the bed to avoid that spot. It made for an uncomfortable stay. The TV was so small that we could not really see it from the bed.

Very spacious and comfortable apartment, located in the side building of the hotel.The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is clean and bigger than most, bed are quite comfortable.The hotel is located very centrally but almost everything is in a walking distance in Oberammergau.The restaurant in the hotel was OK.

It was not possible to open the root window in the smaller bedroom :(The key cards we've been given did not work for the parking and had to ask someone at the reception to open the barrier for us.

Location was in the middle of town, breakfast was very good, room was clean and functional.

Dinner at the hotel restaurant; parking in the lot was haphazard (no lines).

The food we had was good, but not exceptional. Our son was disappointed in his veal cutlet: it seemed over-breaded, and the meat soggy. We ordered a bottle of white Riesling, which came to the table at room temperature so that we had to wait while it chilled.The breakfast was quite good.
