Rooms were spacious with nice features. Hotel in beautiful location. Restaurant and breakfast were superb. Highly recommend visiting monastery across road

we loved everything especially enjoyed the breakfasts and Christmas Eve dinner....perfect location...beautiful accommodations and decor.

Excellent staff, beautiful hotel. The attached restaurant had a wonderful breakfast and we ate dinner there every night we stayed. The menu was varied and everything was delicious. This hotel is magical and in such a great location-highly recommend!

I wish there was one more coffee machine for breakfast.

The staff were excellent. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was superb and the location quite accessible and near several attractive destinations.

Slow lift, long hallways with stairs.

We liked everything this was hands down the best hotel we have stayed at on our month long trip around Europe, must have stayed at around 20 hotels and none of them at this price point comes anywhere near this place.The rooms are spacious very well equipped and bed was really comfortable these guys know how to run a hotel.

Great location, good breakfast, and free parking. Good restaurants and bakery within walking distance.

Spa and breakfast, top class.

A large group of young people using the Spa were very loud and untidy leaving their used towels lying all over the place after leaving the Spa.

It was a comfortable hotel in a really nice location. Most of the staff was superb and they set us up with some nice lunch packages. The breakfast was nice with some good options on the healthy side and the sweet side. The location was good to do some hiking as well. The room was spacy and comfortable.

Being on the street side there was some traffic noise, but I could imagine this would be more of an issue in summer, as I don't think there is airco. The gym is very basic, so best to go outside for sports.

The pool and sauna are excellent

The towels in the room are thin and feel like tpaper the beds are not that comfortable and so are the pillows

Provide slippers in the room, it would be nice to turn off the electricity as you go out from the room to be more environmentally friendly, as the current setup you can leave everything on while you are out

Breakfast was good. Lots of choices. Clean, quiet, comfy.

Fabulous views. Hotel is situated is a stunning location. This hotel lives up to it's 5 stars and beyond. We were a group of 8 and were treated very well by all the friendly professional staff.

A big room with a big and nice bathroom. Super comfy beds and pilllows. Very good breakfast, versatile.Good location opposite Ettal Abbey.

The smell in the room was something we didn't like. Never experienced the smell like that anywhere else before.The service in the restaurant was also something that we have never experienced before.

We were on tour with the bikes and this probably the only place where we would have wished to stay another night. Classy and good value ! The suites are huge.

Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet in the evening, easy parking, sauna, pool, super friendly staff, amazing breakfast, location. There is no single thing to complain about!!

Very helpful and accommodating staff . Nice comfortable rooms and parking provided. Definitely recommend a stay in Ettal .

Possibly access to Netflix … as no English speaking channels.
